Selena Gomez Reportedly Headed Towards a Breakdown, About to Pull a Britney Spears

Is Selena Gomez headed to the looney bin? That's what people are saying!

We all know Sel's had a rough few years with that big Justin BIeber breakup and it seems like it's taken its toll on her. According to TheHollywoodGossip.com, Selena is really unstable right now and headed towards a breakdown.

"She's still very fragile and not coping with her problems at all. She's jabbering to herself, and everyone is worried she's about to pull a Britney Spears. She's a very troubled young girl, and if she doesn't get it together, the psych ward could be next," a source told the site.

Honestly, she has been acting a little cray lately. First she deleted all of her Instagram pictures with the Jenner sisters, sparking rumors that something was going down between them. The next day she deleted EVERYONE she was following on Instagram...including the Biebs and her good friend Taylor Swift. There has been talk that Justin actually hooked up with Kylie Jenner..and that's why Selena is having a hard time right now.

Selena also reportedly spent some time in rehab in the beginning of the year to cope with her Bieber breakup and alcohol problems.

TOP PICK: Britney Spears and Lady Gaga to Record a Duet

So, is this why Lady Gaga went to Britney Spears' Las Vegas show? Were they talking business backstage?

Sure sounds like it!

Over the weekend, Mother Monster attended Britney's show and posted this behind-the-scenes pic of them palling around with the caption ""Me and Brit Brit ♥ #Applause4Britney @britneyspears we had so much fun at your show!" and the followed up with "And Britney's dad gave us homeade BBQ, it was one of the best things I've ever eatin' in my LIFE."

She also said that they had a "Monster Party," which might have been centered around planning a diva duet.

According to Us Weekly, the two discussed the duet backstage and a source tells the site "It'll happen soon."

Not soon enough, we say!

We can't wait to hear what these two pop stars come up with when they collaborate.

Both singers have been hitting the collabs hard lately, with Britney recently teaming up with her sister Jamie Lynn Spears for one song on her 'Britney Jean' album and Miley Cyrus for a song on Miley's most recent album.

As for Gaga, she did a duet with Cher, which she didn't want to make public, but it leaked online anyway and she also did a duet with R. Kelly for her 'ARTPOP' album.

Now, the only question is, does this mean we can expect another new album from one...or both...of them, or will it just be a single?

Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears' New Music Videos: Too Hot for Daytime French TV!

Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears are too hot and sexy for French daytime TV? Say it isn't so!

Both of the singers' most recent music videos were just axed from the daytime slots on French television because they're simply too racy!

Miley's infamous "Wrecking Ball" vid and Brit's "Work B--ch" video aren't allowed to be shown on television until after 10 p.m. in France. They were reportedly being shown during the daytime without any parental warning...and that's apparently a big no-no.

The famous ladies, who are actually good friends with each other too, were shut down because their videos were too hot for most to handle. Miley's video reportedly showed off too much sexually (riding naked on the ball, licking hammers, etc.) while Brit's bondage scene was, "a sadomachistic universe representing women in a way that risks shocking many viewers."

TOP PICK: Britney Spears Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction During Las Vegas Show

Oh no! Britney Spears almost lost her leotard while performing at her Las Vegas show.

The pop star was dancing around to her song "Circus" when the back came completely undone.

Of course, the show must go on, so Britney limited her movements while a heads-up backup dancer sprung into action and tried to put things back together.

Instagram user kay0gee posted the video online with the caption "'Circus' when her dress almost came off."

It looks like Britney handled the whole thing like a total pro and didn't even seem to acknowledge the wardrobe malfunction, although we're sure someone had their work cut out for them as soon as she stepped off the stage.

Friday's show marked the beginning of Britney's two-year residency in Sin City and she had tons of celebs in the audience for opening night, including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Adam Lambert.

Aside from the little clothing snafu, it sounds like the show is going pretty well....and we definitely know that Miley dug it!

Miley Cyrus Dancing To Britney Spears Is The New Taylor Swift Dancing To, Well, Everything

We've all come to know and resent love Taylor Swift's quirky, off-beat dance moves at every awards show and concert she attends. But who would have thought Miley Cyrus would become the New Taylor Swift?

A crop top wearing Cyrus was spotted first row at Britney Spears' first Las Vegas show yesterday (Dec. 27), and boy, did she know all the words. The video above was later released, showing the 21-year-old lip syncing and dancing her famous booty off to "Till The World Ends."

After her performance, Spears -- who collaborated with Miley on "SMS (Bangerz)" -- tweeted the twerk-star:

.@MileyCyrus Love you so much! Thank you for coming to #PieceOfMe! I adore you :)

Miley Cyrus passionately kisses female backing dancer at Britney Spears' Vegas show - WATCH

She just loves to put her tongue everywhere!

Miley Cyrus is one persuasive lady. The twerk loving pop princess managed to talk two of Britney Spears' backing dancers off stage so she could grind against them at the Toxic singer's debut Vegas show.

And some cheeky chap in the audience caught the whole thing on camera.

As 21-year-old Miley grinds against the two scantily clad dancers, she pulls one of the brunettes in for a quick snog.

Both dancers looked thrilled at the prospect of twerking with the Wrecking Ball singer - although the Miley smooch took them by surprise and they both ran back on stage pretty pronto afterwards. Perhaps they were worried what boss lady Britney was going to say.

Stylist to the stars and America's Next Top Model creative driector Johnny Wujack managed to take a snap of the Miley smooch and later posted it onto his Instagram page saying 'Smoochin at Britney #miley #moment.'

Ironically Miley's antics were perfomed infront of I Kissed A Girl singer herself Katy Perry.

Beforehand Katy Tweeted: “So excited to see britneyspears baby bottle pop it off tonight at her grand opening phvegas! We are coming in full lewks to support!"

And she certainly appeared to enjoy Britney's Piece of Me show as she sang and danced along with a very keen looking Selena (the open shouty mouth gave it away).

Also in the audience / determined to get some of the spotlight was twerking mare Miley Cyrus. She ensured she was right at the front, singing at Britney's face – in fact if she'd been any closer, she would have been on stage with her. Check out the video of her at the show below.

This would probably please Miley rather a lot though – she previously admitted Ms Spears is one of her heroes.

Brit's mum Lynne was in the audience and when she spotted Miley pulled her over to sing with her, which made for another spotlight moment and hopefully didn't put Britney off her miming performance.

She certainly appreciated everyone turning up though and thanked her starry pals afterwards, Tweeting Katy: “"Was SOOOO good to see you again girl! Glad we could make our Vegas date happen".

And Miley re-Tweeted and possibly framed this post: “"Love you so much! Thank you for coming to #PieceOfMe! I adore you".

The slightly legendary Celene Dion also sent her best wishes and having already completed her own Vegas residency, must know how nerve wracking opening night is.

She sent a big bunch of flowers, which Britney acknowledged with: "The most beautiful flowers I've ever seen! Thank you @CelineDion!!"

The 21-year-old entertainer was joined by Katy Perry, Sia, and her pal Markus Molinari!

TOP PICK: Is Britney Spears Ready to Retire?

Britney Spears has been a star since she was just a child...but is she already ready to retire at just 32 years old?

In a new interview with E! News, the pop star says it might have crossed her mind once or twice.

"I have thought about it (retiring), but I think right now is my time to perform and doing what I'm doing," she said. "If I happen to have another baby or something like that, I'd probably move back to Louisiana...I do miss Louisiana. I miss the people. I miss the food. I miss the way of life, how everything is really simple. There's no traffic like there is in L.A. It's really nice."

So, maybe if she had another baby, she's retire...but for now, the pop princess probably has to put both things on hold as she begins her highly-anticipated two-year Las Vegas residency on December 27.

Do you think Britney will retire after that?

TOP PICK: Britney Spears' New Song "Alien" Leaks Online

Uh oh! Britney Spears isn't going to be happy about this!

Her new song "Alien" off of her upcoming album 'Britney Jean' has just leaked online.

The song has a very outer space-type feel and definitely sounds like it could be her next big hit.

This isn't the first leak from Britney's new album. Her song "Work B**ch" leaked online a day ahead of its scheduled release and the pop star was forced to put the song out early to try to stop people from downloading the leaked version, which she said was a "low quality" version of the actual song.

In similar fashion, Brit's team has addressed this leak with the song's producer William Orbit tweeting "It's the wrong version of 'Alien' that's out there. Right song, but had wrong chorus notes, (now fixed) on THE version."

Click below to listen to the leaked version and tell us what you think of "Alien."

TOP PICK: Britney Spears Releases New Song "Perfume"

Britney Spears has just released her brand new song "Perfume" off of her upcoming album 'Britney Jean.'

The pop princess recently revealed that this album would be her most personal ever and while the first single "Work B**ch" didn't exactly live up to that expectation, this one definitely does.

The song is a lot slower than the usual BritBit pop ballads and the sound is a lot more raw.

"'Perfume' is incredibly special to me because it hits close to home, and I think the story is relatable to everyone," the pop star told E! News. "Everyone's been through an insecure moment in a relationship that's left them vulnerable and I think this song captures that."

In the song, Britney sings about love, insecurity and an emotional struggle that almost anyone who's ever been in a relationship can relate to.

Is Britney Spears' New Album Cover Too Similar to Miley Cyrus'

We know Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus collaborated on some new music, but did they also collaborate on their album covers?

Miley recently released her new CD 'Bangerz' and the simple design features a scantily-clad Miley striking a sexy pose next to a neon sign, baring the album title.

Then, a few weeks later, Britney Spears released the cover art for HER eighth studio album 'Britney Jean' and the concept is strikingly similar.

A topless Britney poses in front of a simple black background and flashes a seductive smile in front of...you guessed it...a neon sign with the album title!

BritBrit even has her hand folded the same way and is touching her lips, too, just like Miley.

Do you think Britney copied Miley's 'Bangerz' cover or do you think it was just a coincidence?

Britney Spears Calls Miley Cyrus "Brilliant," Says "Wrecking Ball" Singer Is a "Girl's Girl"

Miley Cyrus' antics and outfits may be raising eyebrows, but she's found a fan in Britney Spears. During a radio interview with London's 95-106 Capital FM (airing Sunday, Oct. 20), host Max asked Spears about her newfound friendship with her "Bangerz (SMS)" collaborator.

"My mom and her mom know each other," said Spears, who hails from Louisiana but now resides in California. "She's a girl's girl and she gets the whole Southern thing." Their connection doesn't end there, as the two also share a manager, Larry Rudolph. "It's just really worked out," she explained.

"I'm a huge fan of hers," the 31-year-old princess of pop added. "I think she's brilliant right now."

Spears said she's flattered by Cyrus' public praise. "She has so much energy and she's on fire, so for her to even say anything about me is just really cool," the mom of two shared.

During Cyrus' MTV documentary special, Miley: The Movement, she explained why it was important to work with Spears on her fourth album, Bangerz. "I always say I only want one bitch on my record, and that's Britney, bitch," said the Tennessee native.

The "We Can't Stop" singer recognized that she and Spears have made similarly controversial career decisions over the years. Even so, both musicians have amassed a loyal fan base. "The way that I am about Britney, that's the way a lot of people are about me," Cyrus said. "She was my first record. I was a lot of people's first album. First idol. I'll be a diehard fan for Britney, always."

Ironically, Spears wasn't the first choice when Cyrus recorded "Bangerz (SMS)" earlier this year. "The first name that we tossed around was Gwen Stefani," songwriter Sean Garrett recently told MTV. "We were talking about Gwen because you know Gwen got that edge too, but that's how God works."

Cyrus and Garrett also considered asking Nicki Minaj to lend her talents. "That would've been nuts too, but I think that's how God works," Garrett said. "This was absolutely the right one."

Britney Spears Reveals New Album Title: 'Britney Jean'

Britney Spears recently said that her upcoming album will be her "most personal" album ever, although she didn't reveal many more details about the highly-anticipated record, except that we could expect to hear new music "by the end of the year."

Just today, the pop star revealed that the album will be out December 3 and it will be called 'Britney Jean,' which is definitely her most personal album title ever.

In an interview with Capital FM, the "Work B**ch" singer explained that it's a throwback to her Louisiana roots, where her family calls her by her first and middle name.

"All my family, they always call me Britney Jean," she said. "It's like a term of endearment. I just wanted to share that with my fans."

Also in the interview, Britney talked about Miley Cyrus' foam finger controversy and gave Britney a foam hand of her own, telling her she could do whatever she wanted with it. Watch the video above to see what she did...

Miley Cyrus Says Her Dad Was Afraid She'd Turn Into a Stripper Because of Britney Spears

Miley Cyrus might love her friendship with Britney Spears but there's one person who wasn't fond with the idea at first! Can you guess who?!

In the new MTV documentary Miley: The Movement, Miley and Brit are seen hanging out and talking up the VMAs when she admits that her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, was a little worried about her idolizing Brit-Brit!

Talking about Brit's famous kiss with Madonna at the 2003 VMAs, Miley said, "For me that's when I got into music. I want to give people that again, videos that are out of control and performances that you can't believe."

"My dad [Billy Ray Cyrus], I remember when the "Slave 4 U" video came out he shook his head and was like, 'My girl's going to turn into a stripper, I'm scared' because I wanted to be hot like Britney," she added.

Little did he know what his precious little daughter would turn in to! Now parents are afraid for their kids to idol his!

Needless to say, Miley and Britney worked on a track together for Miley's upcoming Bangerz album.

Hot body? Check. Lambo? Check. Adoring fans flooding social media to sing Britney Spears' praises? Triple-check!

Since the release of Brit-Brit's new video for "Work Bitch," fans have been going bonkers for the pop princess, sharing their enthusiasm everywhere from YouTube to Instagram. But it's not just the Britney Army flipping out

Some of today's most-talked-about stars have also confessed admiration for the singer. Paris Hilton, who's returning to music after a seven-year hiatus, recently gushed to MTV News about Spears. "I love Britney, I've always loved her," the hotel heiress said. "I think she's so beautiful, I love her music and I'm so proud of her."

Also bowing down to Spears is Miley Cyrus. The pair linked up on a track from Cyrus' upcoming album, Bangerz, a recording process that Smilers got a peek at when MTV's "Miley: The Movement" doc premiered Wednesday night. Plus, as fans found out, Britney served as Miley's muse for her controversial 2013 VMA performance.

"My favorite [VMA] memory ever is, like, Britney and Madonna. I just think that's, like, kind of the coolest and from working with Britney and, like, knowing kind of, um, that, that was just her," Miley told MTV News in August on the set of her pre-VMA promo shoot. "That's very much how I am when it comes to my music, is I'm just, no one really knows what I'm going to do until the day, and that's sort of how that whole thing came about and that was just Britney being creative."

Another former Disney starlet pulling inspiration from Britney is Selena Gomez. Not only did she channel her idol at this year's MTV Movie Awards, she's currently doing so while on the road for her Stars Dance Tour.

"I want [fans] to non-stop dance, because that's what I grew up watching in the nosebleeds, going to every Britney show, just still wanting to this day to learn her dance moves because they are so epic," Gomez explained when we joined her for a pre-kickoff rehearsal this summer. "That's what I'm trying to do: make it fun, original and let them have a great time."

And while Britney left her "X Factor" gig to concentrate on her upcoming album and Las Vegas residency, there's still nothing but love between her and fellow judge Demi Lovato.

"Wouldn't you be disappointed if you weren't sitting next to Britney Spears for another season?" Lovato responded when asked back in May whether she would miss having Spears on the panel. "I had moments where I was, like, so comfortable with her because she is so down-to-earth and I had moments where I was, like, 'That's my girl,' you know? And then I was like, 'Sh--, that's Britney Spears.' "

Britney Spears Talks About Transforming Her Image and Texting Miley Cyrus

Britney Spears rose to fame with her catchy tunes and super sexy image. The pop star was notorious for wearing very little and showing off her picture perfect body.

That was a long time ago, though...and that's not to say Britney doesn't still have a good body (she does!), but she's a mother of two now and she isn't as interested in portraying the sexy siren anymore.

In a new interview with The TJ Show on AMP 103.3, the pop star was asked about her brand new video for "Work B**ch," which features some stripped-down scenes.

"I cut half of the video because I am a mother and because I have children and it's hard to play sexy mom while you're being a pop star as well," she confesses. "I just have to be true to myself and just feel it out and just let 'em know."

When asked if she felt she was being pushed too far, Britney simply replied "yes."

Hmm...that sounds like it could become a point of contention between Brit and her "people."

The pop star also talked about collaborating with Miley Cyrus. When asked if they got friendly and were texting each other outside the studio, Brit said that she and Miley had maybe sent each other one text apiece, saying that Miley is really busy and that they just kept it professional.

That isn't too surprising, now that Britney is a mom and seems most interested in spending time with her kids and such, we don't really seem them having a ton of stuff to talk about.

Update: Britney's Dad Jamie Spears and her manager Larry Rudolph responded to Britney's comments about being pressured to be too sexual, telling TMZ, "Britney is never pressured into anything. She reviews all creative and for her 'Work B**ch' video she discussed toning down some parts in finding a balance of sexy and being a mom."
