iHeartRadio Music Festival 2014: One Direction, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and More!

The 2014 iHeartRadio Music Festival performers have been announced and we are over-the-moon excited about the lineup. Besides the inevitable reunion of Harry Styles and Taylor Swift in the same place at the same time (yes, eyes will be peeled for any shade throwing), is the fact that some amazingly huge musical talents have been assembled for the event.

Look for the following acts to perform at this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 19 and 20 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas: One Direction, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Lorde, Usher, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Iggy Azalea.

As if that's not cool enough, look for Nicki Minaj, Motley Crue, Zac Brown Band, Paramore, Train, Eric Church, Calvin Harris, Bastille, Steve Aoki and Before You Exit.

The iHeartRadio Music Festival Village Acts include: Neon Trees, Kacey Musgraves, Childish Gambino, MAGIC!, The Pretty Reckless, Nico & Vinz and Lil Jon.

So much amazing music. Plus, a special surprise, as Billboard.com reports Clear Channel president of national programming platforms teased: "There's a song that's gonna be the collaboration of the summer, that everybody's gonna be talking about, that could easily be a moment for us."

It's Not Easy Being One Direction, According to Ed Sheeran: "They Have to Make Decisions as Five"

What's it like to be part of One Direction? Ed Sheeran may have some insider information and, lucky for us, he's offering up some of the details. Bottom line, it's not as easy being in a group as it is being a solo artist.

Ed recently told Event magazine that he's tight with 1D, but doesn't offer them any advice, explaining, "When I see them – the last time I saw all of them was last year at the MTV Video Music Awards, but I see Harry quite a lot – I don't counsel them."

He added that it's all about having a good time together, but did note some of the pitfalls of their fame as a boyband, explaining, "We have a drink and some fun. Whenever I see them, they're fine, but I have times where I don't handle things very well and I mask it, and I'm sure they can mask it as well. I don't have any of the frustrations that they might have, because they have to make decisions as five, whereas I'm my own man. That's the balance they have to get."

Okay, Niall, Louis, Liam, Zayn and Harry...don't get any ideas about going solo.

Taylor Swift & Ed Sheeran Fought Over Their Duet - Find Out Why!

Taylor Swift wears a peach-colored outfit while heading out of the gym and to her lunch date on Friday afternoon (July 18) in New York City.

The 24-year-old singer recorded a duet with her pal Ed Sheeran called “Everything Has Changed” for her latest album and now he is dishing on a fight that stemmed from the writing process.

“I went to her house, she cooked an apple pie — she cooks really good sh–,” Ed recently said. “She has a little Taylor guitar, she got it out and she’s like, ‘I had this idea for this song,’ … and she pretty much had the verse, bridge and chorus done, but we argued about that one chord — ‘I just want to know you, better know you’ — she didn’t like that, and I kind of forced it upon her.”

“It was quite a funny situation. It’s like [her room is] surrounded by Grammys; she has like seven or eight and like Billboard Awards and Songwriting Guild,” he said, “And I’m like, ‘this chord,’ and she’s like [pointing to her awards].”

Liam Payne Just Wrote A ‘Pure Banger’ For You One Direction Fans

Directioners, get ready because Liam Payne is going to make you dance!

On Wednesday (July 16) arguably One Direction’s best member, posted a selfie on Instagram letting all the fans know that he was hard at work in the studio writing a “pure banger” for “you guys who like to dance.”

He promised more info to come, but we all know Liam, otherwise known as “Big Payno,” likes to get his remix on. Back in April, Liam created an EDM remake of the group’s ballad, “You & I,” off their Midnight Memories album.

No word on when the guys will be releasing new music since they are busy on their Where We Are Tour, but what we do know is that when they decide to unleash their fourth album, they may just team up with a very familiar face: Ed Sheeran.

“I wrote a whole lot of songs that I gave to them that they are recording, so I don’t know if they are making an album or anything, but they’re there.” Ed said during “Live From MTV” before adding that it won’t be anything like the heartfelt hit, “Little Things.” “It’s completely different. One of them is a song I really wanted to put on my first album, but it was to stadium rock, so just expect stadium rock.”

Scooter Braun Gets Married & Justin Bieber Performs

Scooter Braun has tied the knot to his cancer activist fiancee Yael Cohen!

The 33-year-old manager of Justin Bieber and many other artists received the support from all of his clients at the wedding in Canada this weekend.

Justin popped up during the ceremony to perform “All You Need is Love,” Ed Sheeran and Asher Roth performed “No Diggity” during the party, and Justin joined Carly Rae Jepsen for “Call Me Maybe” at the reception as well.

Other celebrities in attendance included family friend Sophia Bush and actor Tom Hanks, who took to the stage to “get his rabbi on,” according to one of the guests.

What's your take on being considered hot?
I never expected any of this to happen. I think attractive men are quite threatening, because they know they're attractive and go in with a sort of confidence that can be very unattractive. There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance. People in pop bands usually look quite nice, but the boy next-door is going to look like a normal person. I don't think I look like a pop star.

What's your current guilty pleasure?
Justin Bieber's album, Journals. What he's done in the press has completely overshadowed how good that album is.

Worst date ever?
That's what one of the singles [on X] is about — the girl I was seeing slept with my friend at my own party while I was in the same hotel.

What do you think is the biggest misconception about you?
The world is convinced that Taylor [Swift] and I dated. Everyone, even my friends are like, "Yeah, but you did, right?" I haven't. I legitimately haven't.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The power of healing. Whenever anyone gets ill — terminal cancer, fucking leukemia — you can just go "Bam!" and they're well again. My grandfather had Alzheimer's, so he was never quite aware of who I was. If I could have just clicked my fingers ... You'd be very busy. You'd spend your whole time in hospitals, but the power of healing would be the best.

Which New Ed Sheeran Song Was Written on Harry Styles' Guitar?

Ed Sheeran's new album is pretty spectacular, and some of that awesomeness is thanks to One Direction's Harry Styles. The guitar he bought for Ed was actually used to create one of our favorite tunes on X.

Welsh song writer Amy Wadge said in a recent interview that she wrote the song, "Thinking Out Loud," for Ed in 20 minutes, and she used Harry's gift to Ed to create it. She revealed that Ed was instantly taken with the tune and after returning from a meal with his parents, they started writing the track...it was two o'clock in the morning.

Ed's new album, (pronounced "multiply"), had already been completed at the time, yet the track found its way on there. Amy also revealed that she felt emotional when she heard him perform the song, and we can totally see why.

Demi Lovato and Ed Sheeran Duet Update: Demi Dishes on New Song

Demi Lovato talked with MTV recently to dish on that amazing "Give Me Love" duet with Ed Sheeran and their upcoming collaboration. If you thought she looked beyond thrilled to be on stage with Ed, check out her account of how their duet happened.

Demi talked about how they rehearsed it just once, but with their amazing vocals, they didn't need any extra practice. She explained: "When we were rehearsing the song he was like 'I'll take the first verse, you take the second verse,' and I was like 'OK.' So I listened to him sing the first verse and the first chorus and then it was my turn to sing and we were rehearsing in my dressing room. And I completely forgot all the words. I was like, 'I'm sorry, I'm really nervous."

Of course, she put those nerves aside and they delivered a kick-ass performance. But when can we expect their collaboration to happen? Demi explained, "We've talked about it for sure...We discussed meeting up in London or wherever we are in the same place to write together, which has yet to happen."

The "Sing" songster talks to TIME

When Ed Sheeran talked to TIME for this week’s issue, the full conversation ranged from his go-to karaoke song (“Pony” by Ginuwine) and what will happen to his puppet alter ego for his “Sing” video (it will be used again, and then he’ll eventually keep it at home in a display box), to dealing with a break up (writing a song beats crying at home) and worrying that his album will leak (if it happened to Kanye, it could happen to anyone).

And, of course, the infamous Drake-lyric needlepoint.

The “started from the bottom” stitch sampler was created by none other than Taylor Swift, and was shown to the public in the Sheeran-centric MTV doc 9 Days and Nights of Ed Sheeran, which premiered June 10. It caused some Internet swooning among fans, but Sheeran tells TIME, there weren’t any other crafts exchanged:

Did you make Taylor Swift anything in return for the Drake needlepoint?
No, but I’m not a very crafty sort of person. She’s very crafty.

Obviously.
I know she’s 24 but she’s a sort of middle-aged woman trapped in a 24-year-old’s body. She hangs out with her cat and sews things.

How old are you, at heart?
My soul age differs from day to day. It can be 8 or 80.

Can you tell when you wake up which it will be?
