“It was a surprise. She told me this was going to happen because she was like…” Hailey said, referring to her OB/GYN Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi, who co-hosts the podcast.
“And I told her like, ‘Don’t get pregnant!’ ” Dr. Aliabadi interjected, before asking if Hailey wanted to share about her health diagnosis.
“Yeah. So I had a septum in my uterus, and Dr. A kept saying, ‘Well, we need to look at this and keep an eye on it before you get pregnant because it could potentially be an issue,’” Hailey said.
“‘I don’t really know. We’ve got to see. I might have to give you a small surgery for it. Not sure.’ And I was like, ‘Okay. Well, I’m not thinking about getting pregnant right now, so we’ll just cross that bridge when we get there.’ And then I magically got pregnant.”
“And then she calls me, and she’s like, ‘I’m pregnant!’ And I’m like, ‘No!’” Dr. Aliabadi exclaimed.
Dr. Aliabadi then explained a uterine septum.
“So uterine septum is genetic. Again, we’re born with it. So basically, imagine you have a normal-shaped uterus. But inside the cavity of the uterus, imagine this little wall that comes in, this thin wall that comes in. You can have a mild, moderate or a severe septum. Basically we measure it on ultrasound. If it’s less than 1 cm, we call it mild. If it’s 1 to 2 cm, it’s moderate.”
“Yours was moderate,” she told Hailey.
“It affects 1 to 3% of women, and with moderate, you have a higher risk of miscarriage with the pregnancy. And so the risk for her was about maybe 25 to 40% risk of miscarriage. And a 10 to 20% risk of preterm delivery.”
“Which I think was our bigger scare. Because we realized as the baby was growing, the septum it was, you know, expanding. Everything was opening and doing what it needed to do, luckily,” Hailey added.
“I never forget, as I was telling her, ‘Well, these are the risks.’ And she looked at me, she’s like, ‘You know what? I believe that everything’s gonna work out fine.’ Remember this? And I looked at her, and I’m like, ‘I think so too,’” Dr. Aliabadi shared.
Dr. Aliabadi talked about how the condition is commonly missed on ultrasounds, and suggested that if someone is suffering recurrent miscarriages to get a 3D imaging of their uterine cavity.
She also described a PreTRM Test, which is a blood test taken between 18-20 weeks of pregnancy that estimates the risk of delivering before 37 weeks. Hailey tested low-risk.
“I was convinced I was going to go into labor early because of my mom’s history… but my body had its own plan,” Hailey went on to say. Watch the discussion above.

FIRST PERFORMANCE CLUES:
- She does “it all” – including primetime, film, and has received “billions of streams”
Based on the clues, we’re pretty sure Normani is under the Crane mask. For the 2025 NFL season, Normani starred in the “Better Believe It” campaign and she performed a remix titled “Ride the Float.” She’s also engaged to wide receiver DK Metcalf. The “sugar” is most likely a reference to when she opened Ariana Grande‘s Sweetener Tour. As a child, Normani did ballet and one of Fifth Harmony’s biggest songs was “Work from Home.” Normani is also extremely close with her grandmother, lovingly known as Babs.

The camera then panned to Leighton, who repeated Ariana‘s “Wow, wow, wow” and then laughed.
After some fans thought that Leighton was mocking Ariana, the Gossip Girl actress is now explaining what really happened.
Keep reading to find out more…“I was with Kate [my publicist]. And [Ariana] said something to me,” Leighton recalled on the new episode of Penn Badgley‘s Podcrushed podcast. “And then Kate turns around, and we both heard that [Ariana said], ‘Hi, I love you. Wah, wah, wah.’”
Leighton thought that Ariana was poking some fun at her for crying over husband Adam Brody‘s win at the awards show the year before, since she and her publicist were just talking about it before Ariana walked by.
“I couldn’t hear her. She was, like, walking away. And I was like, ‘Oh, she’s kind of a comedy queen. She’s just being funny.’ Like, ‘I love you. Wah, wah, wah.’ Like, I thought that would be something she would do,” Leighton explained. “And so I was like, ‘Oh, my God, that’s cute and funny.’”
As it turns out, Leighton had misheard Ariana.
“Turns out she didn’t say that. And then I saw her, like, the next week, and I was like, ‘I have to tell you, like, I thought [you said that],’” Leighton recalled. “And she’s like, ‘You thought I said wah, wah, wah? That’s so funny.’ And I was like, ‘No, it’s an old person not being able to hear.’ Like, that is so embarrassing.”
The 29-year-old model and Rhode boss appeared on the season 3 premiere of Jake Shane‘s Therapuss podcast, which is now available for streaming on Netflix.

“He’s walking. He’s running… He’s kicking a soccer ball. He’s throwing the soccer ball,” she added. “He’s into all of it.”
“It is so fun,” Hailey said of motherhood. “I always knew I wanted kids, I always wanted to be a mom. And then when it happens, you never know what to expect and you don’t know what it’s going to be like. And it honestly it’s so much fun.”
When asked what is “one thing” no one warned her about parenting and she wasn’t expecting, Hailey said, “It’s a whole bunch of you just don’t know what’s going to happen until you get there. Also in the interview, Hailey said that she hopes to have more kids in the future.
“I definitely do want one more,” she said, adding, “I’m not in a rush, but I definitely want one more. Maybe I’ll have four more. Maybe I’ll have three. I don’t know, I really don’t know. I’m just taking it one day at a time.”
