Demi Lovato on Joe Jonas: "We Have a Great Friendship"

There may have been a bumpy road in the process but it looks like Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas maintained a friendship after their split in 2010.

In an interview with ABC's "Nightline," the "Heart Attack" songstress explained, "We were in a relationship and we broke up, and at one point, I was really mad at him," adding, "Now, I can, fortunately, say, that him, and his brother Nick, have always been there for me, and are literally family, and like brothers … we have a great friendship."

Demi also dished that they "may not be as close as [they] used to be, but that's OK." Also explaining, "When you go through heartbreaks and things like that, you always have in mind somebody," she said. "It's like when you hear a song on the radio that reminds you of somebody, you're going to be reminded. But keeping that in mind ... it's a delicate balance.

Jonas himself also proved their friendship recently when he tweeted out kind words after the release of her new album Demi, writing, "Congrats @ddlovato on the new record! So happy for you!"

Emma Watson Looks Grown and Sexy for W Magazine by Michael Thompson

With a new movie in theaters soon, The Bling Ring star Emma Watson is proving that she isn't little Hermoine Granger anymore with this very grown up photo shoot for W Magazine. Photographer Michael Thompson shot these dramatic shots of the young actress that have a vintage, almost-noir aesthetic with the muted colors and sensual poses.

In the W Magazine interview, Watson talks about how she embraced her childhood and never wanted to grow up too fast: "I wanted to wear a sports bra until I was 22! The allure of being sexy never really held any excitement for me. I’ve never been in a terrible rush to be seen as a woman."

She may not be in a rush, but the time has definitely come. This issue of W hits newsstands on May 28 and The Bling Ring will be in theaters on June 14.

Demi Lovato's Summer Plans? Spend It Like 'A Boss'

There won't be many lazy summer days on Demi Lovato's schedule this year. The singer has a jam-packed season ahead that includes filming the next season of "X Factor," some concerts and promoting her new album, Demi. But she's got something else on her calendar, though, and it has nothing to do with music.

"Actually, this summer I have to get my tonsils out," Lovato revealed during her "Live From MTV" special, explaining that the surgery would probably keep her from going on tour, not to mention her commitment to the Fox singing show. She added, "I'm not sure if this year is the best opportunity to [tour] because 'X Factor' keeps me so busy."

As for having those tonsils removed, Demi boasted she was taking a bad-ass approach: "I'm gonna do it without painkillers, though, 'cause I'm a boss. I say that now!"

With live gigs still planned here and there, fans can catch Demi belting songs from her new LP, but don't expect to hear one of the more emotional tunes on it, especially the deeply personal ballad "Shouldn't Come Back."

"I was just sobbing because it was just built-up emotion that I was finally getting to release in music," Lovato said of recording the track. "And there was a turning point in the song originally about one thing and then ... I was like, 'I want to try something new,' and kind of ... freestyled the lyrics. And I just changed the song completely, and my producers in the studio were like, 'Whoa, it just got heavy.' "

So heavy that Demi said she can't bring herself to sing it in front of fans ... at least not yet. "With those songs, I don't know if I will perform them onstage. To be in front of an audience and be that vulnerable, I don't know if I can do it. ... But I may have to and I may have to get over it and realize that I let the world in on this certain topic and here we go."

Taylor Swift not laughing at Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber kiss

Taylor Swift’s disgusted reaction manifests exactly what she thinks of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber rekindling their romance.

The singer unleashed her true feelings via an impromptu facial expression when her bestie Gomez kissed her ex-boyfriend backstage at the Billboard Music Awards, so obviously not wanting him to “Come and Get It.”

Swift, who won the night’s honour for artist of the year was walking backstage with Gomez at the MGM Grand venue in Las Vegas when they bumped into Bieber.

Now, there were a few bodyguards blocking the exchange but when Gomez stopped to warmly greet Bieber with a hug and a peck on the cheek, Swift stuck her tongue out in mock horror at the tumultuous couple.

Very “22”. The singer also seemed to get bored of the prolonged reunion.

Eventually, Gomez is pulled away and a few minutes later, Bieber is seen asking a member of his entourage to block one of the cameras from continuing to record him, eventually stepping out of the frame. Ah, the beauty of the backstage cam.

Gomez, 20, and Bieber, 19, have been on-again-off-again for years, officially ending their relationship around New Year’s 2013.

She’s been seen hanging out with Swift, 23, quite a bit. Gomez and Bieber were rumoured to have rekindled their romance in Las Vegas leading up to the show, though Gomez had debunked rumours that they were back together, according to E! News.

However, Swift had little to be disgusted about Sunday night, taking home the most of the evening’s awards.

Overall, it was a rough night for the Biebs, who, despite several wins and two high-energy performances, was booed by raucous audience members when he took the stage to accept the first-ever Milestone Award.

Emma Watson: Don't confuse actors with celebrities

The actress Emma Watson has spoken of the perils of celebrity, as she warns the "full time job" of creating a brand to stay in the headlines is totally different from her "craft".

Watson, who is appearing at the Cannes Film Festival to promote her new film The Bling Ring, said she wanted people to understand the distinction between actors and the celebrities of reality television.

Saying celebrity had become a "weird job description", she added it was now "totally a full time job".

Speaking in Cannes, she disclosed she had spent time watching American reality television to research her role, of a would-be model living in LA.

The film, directed by Sofia Coppola, tells the true story of a gang of privileged teenagers who break into the homes of the rich and famous they idolise.

Watson, who is best known for her performance as Hermione in the Harry Potter films, said London is already catching up with Hollywood in regards to its obsession with celebrity, as she argues her craft of acting is entirely different.

"I think there are celebrities who create a brand and create a business and a whole job, a whole life, out of other people's interest in their lives," she told a press conference in Cannes.

"And there are celebrities or people who don't; who have a craft and a trade.

" I think as long as people understand the difference then it's ok. There's definitely a difference."

Speaking to The Guardian, she added: "It's become a weird job description in itself; it's totally a full time job if you're wanting to make appearances, creating that brand."

The actress has a new-found insight into the world of reality television after preparing for her latest role in The Bling Ring.

Last week, she admitted she had researched her part by watching shows featuring Paris Hilton, the Kardashians and the socialites of The Hills.

"I had a lot of work to do to get into character for Nicki," she told an audience.

"I watched a lot of the Kardashians, a lot of Paris Hilton, a lot of The Hills. It would be easy for her to feel not real somehow, and I had to try to understand and empathise with her.

"I had to think about what her parenting might have been like, what she might have been brought up believing; thinking about Los Angeles as an environment."

Speaking of reality television, she added: "Where there is a demand for a type of show or image, people will supply it.

"I just think reality tv is another way of telling a story really. It's a different type of acting.

"London is catching up with Hollywood almost, it's definitely on the rise. "

Her film, The Bling Ring, was screened in Cannes last week and will be released in the UK in July.

We Found Love! Single Rihanna wants to get it on with Miley Cyrus

RIHANNA has given Miley Cyrus a green light after admitting that she would love to lock lips with her.

The Bajan beauty was asked if she would 'make out' with Miley after she said she "definitely" wanted to kiss Rihanna when celebrating topping the Maxim Hot 100 poll.

Asked who she thought should be in No:1 spot Miley confessed: "I think Rihanna. She is so sexy!"

At the time Miley was then asked if she would kiss Rihanna - but she played it cool saying: "We'll see."

However she then took to Twitter to air her passion for the Pour It Up singer writing: "I've changed my mind. Definitely."

So when US gossip site TMZ ran into newly-single Rihanna yesterday, they asked her if she felt the same about the punky blonde star and was keen for a make-out session with her.

Rihanna cheekily replied: "Yeah, tell her to call me," as she climbed into her waiting car.

But while Rihanna might be keen to experiment with the ladies following her split from Chris Brown, her dad Ronald Fenty has other ideas.

One Direction stunned on tour by 15,000 screaming fans outside historic venue in Verona - video

This is a small taster for One Direction ahead of their eagerly awaited world stadium tour in 2014.

The famous five were welcomed by 15,000 of screaming fans in the Italian city of Verona ahead of their performance last night.

Not bothered by the beautiful old open-air venue which is home to some landmark opera performances, the lads climbed to the top and encourage their following to make noise.

Harry Styles and Niall Horan took a break from rehearsing and sound checks to greet the massive crowd of fans queuing outside the historic venue.

It’s only slightly smaller than London’s O2 arena and can hold 15,000 people. Not bad considering it’s more than 2,000 years old.

A video was uploaded to YouTube by one of the band’s crew which shows the eye-popping scenes on the streets in Italy.

It’s reported the popstars have banked a staggering £5million each since finding fame on the X Factor and since their debut single in 2011 – they’ve topped the charts in more than 37 countries.

We probably couldn’t name that many countries without an atlas and a magnifying glass.

Before the gig, the lads teased on Twitter about their excitement and caution of performing in a roofless venue.

Harry wrote: “Can't wait to play Verona tonight. It could rain. Which would make things interesting.”

Liam Payne added: “Verona are you ready for tonight though:) exciteddd :)”

The band made their One Big Announcement last week and are set to perform at some of the planet's biggest and most prestigious stadiums starting in Latin America before heading back home to the UK and Ireland for a string of gigs.

And, unsurprisingly, Directioners are expected to go into meltdown on Saturday 25 May when tickets for shows in Dublin, Scotland and other parts of the UK go on sale.

It is predicted tickets for the concerts will sell out within 10 minutes with fans scrambling to get their hands on a seat in the audience with sale day being dubbed "Stressed-out Saturday".

A spokesperson for ticketing website viagogo said: "One Direction are the most wanted boyband on the planet right now, with their last tour selling out in minutes.

"Following the much-hyped announcement on Twitter today, we predict that tickets for the 2014 tour could sell out in as little as 10 minutes, breaking all previous records."

The UK and Ireland dates 1D fans are set to pee their pants over are as follows:

24 May 2014: Croke Park, Dublin

28 May 2014: Stadium of Light, Sunderland

31 May 2014: Etihad Stadium, Manchester

3 June 2014: Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh

7 June 2014: Wembley Stadium, London

One Direction lovers were in a frenzy for a whole six days when the former X Factor contestants said they had something big to reveal. Were they splitting up? Was someone new going to join the group? Was Harry Styles planning to chop off his famous curls?

Luckily it was good news for fans and the boys seem to be just as excited about the gigs as their devotees and they are also looking forward to visiting different countries on tour.

Liam Payne said: "It's mad that the people in the places like Chile know us and it's great to go there."

Niall Horan added: "We're all big football fans. We would love to be in Brazil for the world cup."

And Liam Payne concluded: "We're just trying to keep our feet on the ground. If we could do that in the future then brilliant.

"But right now we just take each day as it comes and get ready for the stadiums. I can't believe I just said that!"

Well we can, Liam.

If you're a fan of One Direction, which, surely you must be, take a look at our video of the lads' funniest moments ever below and you can also re-live our live blog and pretend you were ACTUALLY THERE at the press conference when the tour was announced .

Kevin Jonas says opposites attract

Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle Deleasa are "pretty much the opposite".

The Jonas Brothers star wed the former hairdresser in 2009 and they have their own reality TV show, Married to Jonas.

Despite being very much in love, the couple do have disagreements when it comes to keeping the house tidy.

"It's funny because both of us are pretty much the opposite," he smiled to the British edition of OK! magazine.

"I'm very messy so sometimes that bites me in the butt because she's extremely organised and clean, so it definitely takes a toll, but it's nice having that person with you. You start to realise how nice and clean everything is all the time."

Having their own TV show means the couple's every move is documented for their fans.

Sometimes, looking back over disputes can be tough for the singer.

"The other night we had an argument. Sometimes you say things you don't necessarily mean or it's misconstrued," he admitted.

"All you want is for the person to be with you. It came across as me never wanting her to get a job and that I think her place is in the house, and that wasn't my opinion at all."

With Kevin's busy schedule, it can be difficult for the pair to spend time together.

The lovebirds grab every opportunity for romantic dates.

"Anytime we can be together is important and anything fun or unique we haven't done in a while is always nice," he revealed.

"Going for dinner is always a plus or going to a movie or bowling."

Demi Lovato Dishes Out Advice For Zendaya Coleman, Ariana Grande

Demi Lovato is only 20 years old, but that still makes her old enough to judge the upcoming talent that's following in her footsteps.

And working for the "X Factor" has helped her do just that, growing a relationship with girl group Fifth Harmony over the season. Off the show, Demi has advice for other burgeoning artists as well.

Take Zendaya Coleman for example. The singer/actress/dancer has gone from Disney's "Shake It Up" to "Dancing with the Stars"... and she's only 16.

"For her and a lot of other girls — I've become close with Fifth Harmony and I think Zendaya Coleman is so talented and beautiful — they have these long careers ahead of them," Lovato said after playing a fun game of kittyoke on "Live from MTV." My advice would just be to not let anything get you jaded. Just really appreciate. Be thankful for everything."

It's the ladies' crisp, new attitude that makes them stars, Demi said, but losing their fresh-faced outlook might bring them down. Luckily, for young stars like Ariana Grande, who's balancing her new TV show with releasing an album, their energy is in abundance.

"With Ariana and Fifth Harmony, they have this energy about them that's so refreshing. And it's like, never let that go. Cuz I let it go, and now fortunately, I got it back, which some people don't get. But it's when you let it go of that that you start not enjoying this madness. And you start spiraling.
