Kids Choice Awards 2014: One Direction Win Favorite Group, Fave Song

Congratulations to One Direction, who took home the 2014 Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Music Group and Favorite Song ("Story of My Life").

Unfortunately, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik couldn't attend the KCAs, but they sent along a video acceptance speech for their awards.

1D are currently rehearsing for their huge upcoming tour and weren't available to be at the Kids' Choice Awards (sad face), but their video clip was short and sweet. They apologized for not being at the event, but thanked fans for voting.

Um...how amazing do they look? Too bad they couldn't be there in person....

It's One Direction like you've never heard them before--holy crappy vocals, Batman!

They're not really that bad, of course, but this performance of "Story of My Life" has been dubbed with some horrendously hilarious vocals that we think even the guys would have a good laugh over.

Check out the One Direction "Story of My Life" shred video--they have never sounded so gloriously ridiculous and we love it.

We're hoping Directioners aren't too upset about this one!

We can all agree that we would much rather hear their beautiful singing voices, but this is a funny departure.

One Direction take The X Factor Italy stage for a performance on Thursday night (December 12) in Milan, Italy.

The guys — Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan — performed their hit single “Story Of My Life” off of their third album, Midnight Memories.

Watch One Direction perform on SNL in these video clips, singing "Story of My Life" and.

They looked handsome as ever in black suits (well, Niall went with a more casual jacket)--and they sounded amazing.

The "Story of My Life" performance was pretty subdued without their usual circle walk choreography, but they kept things rather in line, while taking turns to show off their vocal abilities.

It was nice to see Harry and Niall feeling better too, after being sick this week!

After their first performance, Niall tweeted: "This is incredible ! best night"

We loved their second performance of "Through the Dark" too--great job, guys!

One Direction on Dating Rumors, Plus iHeart Radio Album Release Party Video

One of the biggest areas of interest with One Direction? Dating.

Especially the single guys, Niall Horan and Harry Styles, as dating rumors seem to plague them the most.

Both guys raised their hands on Good Morning America when asked who's single, but check out their Extra interview at the iHeart Radio release party for their new album, Midnight Memories.

Terri Seymour asked, "Does it get annoying being linked to everybody you're photographed with?"

Harry and Terri joked that they've been linked now that they've seen each other a couple of times this week.

Nice deflection on that one--we never did get a proper answer to the question!

Alright, moving on...the guys talk about their more grown-up sound on this album, with Harry noting, "As we've gotten older, the music just naturally evolves."

Zayn Malik may be out of the dating game, but he dished a little on his upcoming wedding (no date yet) and having the 1D lads as groomsmen, saying, "I'll think about it."

One Direction "Story of My Life" Didn't Break VEVO Record!

While One Direction fans did their very best to get 1D's newest music video for "Story of My Life" to record-breaking view status, they fell short.

Yep, that's right...Directioners couldn't seem to push One Direction's VEVO video past the current record holder for most views in 24 hours, Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball."

Of course, fans were disappointed, but they did break a 1D record--as "Story of My Life" racked up more views than their last video for "Best Song Ever."

Fans weren't entirely happy with that stat, however, taking to Twitter to demand a recount on the views for "Story of My Life."

Miley's video snagged 19.3 million in 24 hours, while 1D's came up short, as VEVO tweeted: "#SOMLonVEVO 24hr view count = 12.5 Million! Even bigger than Best Song Ever! Nice one, Directioners! @MileyCyrus holds the 24 views record with 19.3M on #WreckingBall."

Well, the One Direction "Story of My Life" music video leaked online--by VEVO--but was removed almost immediately (they meant to post the '2 Days to Go' video above).

Some were able to watch "Story of My Life" on VEVO or YouTube before it was pulled.

Additionally, screen shots from the video and Vine video clips have made their way on Twitter since the "Story of My Life" video leaked.



The question is: did you (or will you) watch the leaked "Story of My Life" video footage...or do you plan to wait until the official full video premiere on Sunday?

A storm is brewing in the fandom, naturally--there's plenty of excitement and curiosity about the new video that makes it hard to resist a peek, but diehard Directioners feel it's not fair to watch the leaked version.

One Direction Performing at AMAs, Plus Pre-Order 'Midnight Memories' for Bonuses!

We couldn't be more excited about all of the latest One Direction news--first up, they'll be performing at the 2013 American Music Awards!

Look for their debut AMAs performance on November 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

But the 1D news doesn't end there--Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam are offering some special exclusive bonuses to fans who pre-order their upcoming album, Midnight Memories.
