WHAT DO YOU THINK of Chris Brown’s new song “New Flame”?

Chris Brown ft. Usher & Rick Ross – “New Flame” Lyrics

[Verse 1: Chris Brown]
There can be one only you
And baby, God could never make two
And I know you came here with your crew
But I promise you that it feels like it’s just us two

[Pre-hook: Chris Brown]
Oh, I don’t know what you had planned to do tonight
But I just wanna be the one to do you right
We’re standing here looking at each other, baby, eye to eye
And I’m hoping that you’re thinking about leaving with me tonight

[Hook: Chris Brown]
Who said you can’t find love in a club?
Cause I wanna tell them they wrong
Come on, just baby, try a new thing
And let’s spark a new flame
You gon’ be my baby
Love me, love you crazy
Tell me if you with it
Baby, come and get it
Maybe try a new thing
And let’s spark a new flame

[Verse 2: Usher]
I can’t believe you came here all alone, baby girl, where’s your lover?
Oh, it don’t really matter cause I got ways to get to know you better
Baby, baby, baby, baby, let’s make what we got here last forever
Girl, cause I don’t wanna let you go, never

[Pre-hook: Usher]

[Hook: Chris Brown & Usher]

[Verse 3: Rick Ross]
Homeplate, world series, sour nigga sliding in her
Baby, I’m a boss, I’m talking George Steinbrenner
Panamera, Yogi Berra, my two-seater Derek Jeter
Got more stripes than all these niggas
Babe Ruth balling in a Beamer
Collar on my Polo, kisses on my necklace
All my diamonds watching, now my watches getting jealous
Smoking on a bomb in my autograph LeBron’s
Yeah, she told me I’m the one, that’s when I only hit it once

[Hook: Chris Brown]

Justin Bieber Still Has Usher's Support After Leaked Racist Comments

Usher took to Instagram to show support for Justin Bieber after his racist comments were leaked in a video!

“At my core, I am a person that supports growth and understands without judgement, that growth often comes as a result of pain and continues effort. As I have watched Justin Bieber navigate difficult waters as a young man, I can tell you that he hasn’t always chosen the path of his greatest potential, but he is unequivocally not a racist,” the 35-year-old singer shared.

Usher added, “What he was 5 years ago was a naive child who did not understand the negative power and degradation that comes from playing with racial slurs. What he is now is a young man faced with an opportunity to become his best self, an example to the millions of kids that follow him to not make the same mistakes.”

Usher Defends Justin Bieber: "He Is Unequivocally Not a Racist"

Usher is standing by Justin Bieber's side.

The former Voice coach has been rushing to his mentee's defense ever since two videos from years ago were released showing the Biebs making racist remarks.

Usher posted an Instagram pic this morning, showing him posing with the young pop star and vented his feelings about growing up in the spotlight.

"At my core, I am a person that supports growth and understands without judgment, that growth often comes as a result of pain and continues effort," he wrote.

"As I have watched Justin Bieber navigate difficult waters as a young man, I can tell you that he hasn't always chosen the path of his greatest potential, but he is unequivocally not a racist."

Usher continued, "What he was 5 years ago was a naive child who did not understand the negative power and degradation that comes from playing with racial slurs. What he is now is a young man faced with an opportunity to become his best self, an example to the millions of kids that follow him to not make the same mistakes."

And during a recent interview with Nylon Guys, Usher echoed his sentiments regarding the "Confident" crooner.

"I gave every bit of advice and always told him it was up to him if he really wanted this. Now that he has it, as an adult, it's his to manage. Do I turn my head in shame based off of what I see, what I know? Nah, I don't because it's all part of life's process," he explained.

Usher Opens Up About Protege Justin Bieber's Troubles

A lot has been said about Justin Bieber in the past few years.

Some if it isn't so easy for the singer's mentor, Usher, to hear.

"I gave every bit of advice and always told him it was up to him if her really wanted this. Now that he has it, as an adult, it's his to manage," he told Nylon magazine. "Do I turn my head in shame based off of what I see, what I know? Nah, I don't because it's all part of life's process. Am I in it with him? Yeah."

Bieber, 20, has had several run-ins with the law in the past few months. Most recently, he found himself in the news when a 5-year-old video resurfaced and showed him telling a racist joke. (He has since apologized for that.)

"It's unfortunate. I hate some of the things I hear. Is it all true? I don't know," Usher said. "But I will tell you this: Success comes with a price. Every person that has grown up, grows through something. It ain't just perfect from the beginning."

The "Voice" coach has been on the other side of the mentor/protege relationship, too. Now 35, Usher credits Diddy for looking out for him when he was an up-and-coming entertainer and now he wants to give back.

"Artist development made me who I am," he said. "Somebody took the time to help me find what it is that works for me as an entertainer and who I am as a music maker."

Usher Defends Justin Bieber, Says Mishaps Are Part Of Growing Up

Usher says though Justin Bieber had a wild year, people shouldn't count the pop singer out just yet.

"I mean more money more problems," the R&B singer said in an interview Wednesday at the premiere of "Justin Bieber Believe" in Los Angeles. "The beautiful part about it is that those that are invested in a long term story you understand that there are peaks and valleys in every person's life some. Unfortunately the reality is he has to live with a camera in front of him, but what he chooses to do on or off camera is analyzed or scrutinized in some off way."

Earlier this year Bieber was caught on camera clashing with a paparazzo. While touring the pop star fainted backstage at a London show and had to be taken to a hospital. These incidents came after photos of Bieber appearing to smoke marijuana hit the Web. During the summer, he also had to apologize by phone to Bill Clinton, for cursing the former president and spraying his photo with cleaning fluid in a New York City restaurant kitchen.

His longtime manager Scooter Braun agreed that Justin Bieber had a very crazy 2013.

"Pandora's box was opened. I mean he got a little bit into trouble," Braun began to explain as crowds screamed hysterically behind him upon Bieber's arrival.

"I don't know it's tough because the whole world is a critic," said Bieber's mother Pattie Mallette. "I think sometimes people dehumanize celebrities and I think what's so great about this movie is that you get to see his humanity. "

"I think the media has been terrible on him," Bieber's grandmother Diane Dale fired back. "There are so many lies going around. A little bit is true but most of it is lies. It's terrible."

After a late arrival, Justin Bieber bypassed most of the press line and quickly entered the theatre.

"Justin Bieber Believe," which opens in U.S. theaters Christmas Day, captures a behind-the-scenes look at the 19-year-old star. Bieber will release a new album, "Journals," on Dec. 23.

Justin Bieber and Diddy Have a Dance Battle at Usher's 35th Birthday Party

Usher's 35th birthday party started off with a bang! Not only was like every famous person in music in attendance but his guy Justin Bieber and Diddy kicked the bash off with an epic dance off!

According to Us Weekly, Bieber and Diddy went head-to-head in a dance off during Usher's surprise bash on Monday, Oct. 14.

It all went down at a West Hollywood club and almost everyone famous was in attendance. T.I., Jermaine Dupri, Miguel and Sugar Ray Leonard were there but it was The Voice judge Blake Shelton who came and was reportedly "a huge hit."

"Usher was completely surprised. Guests arrived at 10:30 p.m. and Usher came at 11," a source told Us Weekly.

"Bieber came with Scooter [Braun] and hung out with Usher in a booth. Usher's girlfriend Grace [Miguel] was there as well."

About an hour in to the party the guys, including the birthday boy, hit the dance floor and got down to "All I Want For My Birthday" by 2 Chainz." All of them were dancing when there was reportedly some sort of a dance-off between Usher, Bieber, Diddy and the others.

"The crowd was going nuts," the sourced added.

The theme of Usher's party was S&M Cirque du Soleil and there were girls dancing in plastic balls and with whips and chains...yikes! His birthday cake was pretty epic and looked like a boxing ring. Usher is set to play retired professional boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, who was at his party, in the upcoming film Hands of Stone.

"Usher was clearly having the time of his life," the insider added.

Usher confesses understudy Justin Bieber 'needs to grow up' in honest Ellen interview

Usher is responsible for introducing Justin Bieber to super-stardom after discovering the young talent on YouTube.

But now the mentor of a troublesome teen diva has confessed his understudy needs to mature.

Justin has been criticised for his wild behaviour as those close to him were concerned he was going off the rails after a string of controversial incidents in recent months.

Usher appeared on chat show The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday [Tues] when he was asked about the 19-year-old popstar.

Ellen approached the potentially awkward topic by saying: “Can we talk about young Justin Bieber for a second?

“Justin who is you know, I love him. He’s been here many times. We had him on the show - first.”

Usher – ever the humble talent spotter – quickly added: “I brought him here first.”

Ellen continued: “Obviously we’ve been with him the whole way. He seems to be um, he’s young.”

The 34-year-old agreed and admitted: “Key word, you started with 'young'.

“And I think all of us in some way have humble beginnings that pan out to be incredible and we hope that in his transition - as friends and family who has helped him be who he is - that he’ll continue to just mature.

"But you know in this days age of social media there is no privacy and that kind of trail and elimination period is kind of done in front of a camera.”

User (Usher, yeah man) kept rambling: “It’s been done in many, many other celebrities. They are product of it and some come out bad and some come out good.

“I am hoping for the best. I don’t look at as a negative though. I look at it as a teenager.”

He sympathised: “[Justin is] a teenager having to live his life in front of a camera."

The Let It Burn singer explained he still keeps in touch with Biebs despite their busy schedules.

“Obviously when I can be of help I do so. Reach out and stay connected,” he revealed.

Justin is currently being investigated for reckless driving after complaints about alleged speeding in the Los Angeles gated community where he lives.

The twig-armed popstar allegedly drove his white Ferrari at freeway speeds in a 25 mph zone, a sheriff's spokesman said.

Prosecutors are also looking at whether to charge Bieber for battery in a separate incident involving a neighbour, who complained the pop-star attacked and threatened him.

It's not the only bit of drama he's creating around his home.

Legal documents obtained by TMZ show Bieber’s plans to stick a ban on his house guests talking about his parties.

The strict guest code says anyone who steps foot into his $6.5million mansion in Los Angeles must sign a contract before entering the seven-bedroom home.

The document is entitled a Liability Waiver and Release, which basically bans anyone from taking fancy Instagrams of his crib, blogging about their amazing experience or tweeting about his décor etc.

Add to this his split from on-off uber-gorge girlfriend Selena Gomez , he had over £215,000 in takings stolen from a recent performance and was booed during his acceptance speech at the Billboard Music Awards.

It's no wonder he goes a little crazy every now and again.

Why Are Justin Bieber and Usher Being Sued for $10 Million?

Uh oh! Justin Bieber and The Voice judge Usher are dealing with some serious allegations that might cost them A LOT of money!

According to The Wrap, Justin and Usher are getting blamed for copyright violations and are being sued for $10 million!

In the lawsuit filed Thursday, Devin Copeland (De Rico) and songwriter Mareio Overton claim they wrote Justin's hit song, "Somebody to Love" in 2008, and later released it on De Rico's album "My Story II."
The two also said they talked to Usher's mother, who allegedly told them her son had listened to the album and wanted Copeland to possibly tour with him.
Usher then reportedly put out a demo version of "Somebody to Love" on YouTube, and Bieber later recorded and released it as a single. As we all know, a remix version, featuring both Bieber and Usher was then released too.
The two guys now allege Justin and Usher's song have the same chords, time signature, and chorus hook as theirs. They're seeking at least $10 million in damages for contributory infringement, vicarious infringement, and copyright infringement.

So far there has been no comment about this incident from either Justin Bieber or Usher. Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens! Do you think Justin and Usher will have to pay up?

TOP PICK: 'The Voice': Shakira and Usher debut strong in ratings

How did NBC’s The Voice perform for Monday night’s big return premiere with Usher and Shakira in the red chairs?

It depends on which comparison you use. Last night’s The Voice spring kickoff had 13.4 million viewers and a 4.7 rating among adults 18-49, easily winning the night.

Normally you would stack those numbers against the show’s Monday premiere on the same night last year. But that episode was a day after NBC aired the Super Bowl and had a giant 6.7 adult demo rating. So it’s down 30 percent from that. Another comparison (and in this case, NBC would argue, the more fair one) is the show’s season 3 premiere last fall, which had a 4.2 rating. So it’s up 12 percent from that round.

Overall, I say this is a good number for the show — especially since the series swapped out half its judging panel, with Xtina and Cee Lo expected to rerun in the fall. How often do you see a judges panel shakeup without a ratings drop from the show’s previous cycle? And given NBC’s recent severe ratings woes, some wondered if The Voice return would suffer. But clearly fans are fully capable of turning on NBC again when the broadcast network has a show they actually want to see.

And since some of you below are debating these Voice numbers vs. Fox’s American Idol this season, here’s some help: Last night’s Voice is down 22 percent from Idol‘s January premiere. But it’s higher than every Idol episode since January.

The return of Revolution, however, is bit less sunny. After a four-month break, the freshman adventure-drama returned to 7.2 million viewers and a 2.7 rating. That’s down 13 percent from the show’s prior average, yet was still easily enough to win 10 p.m.

Meanwhile Fox’s The Following continued its decline to a season low — down 8 percent this week. The Voice put the hurt on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, which dropped 28 percent this week. On CBS, The Voice seemed to pressure the network’s 8 p.m. hour, with How I Met Your Mother dipping 10 percent to a season low.

TOP PICK: Usher wins his two kids after custody battle with ex-wife

Here's something you don't see every day: The ex-husband - in this case, Usher - wins the primary custody battle over the ex-wife.

The Associated Press reports that Grammy-winning R&B singer Usher and his ex, Tameka Foster Raymond, will share legal custody but Usher will have the primary caregiving role for Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 3, beginning Sept. 1.

The decision was made by a judge in Atlanta on Friday. Tameka Raymond will have visitation rights but the details of that have not been determined yet.

No one is talking today but it would be fair to say the decision is a blow to Tameka Raymond, whose 11-year-old son Kile Glover died last month in a boating accident on a Georgia lake.

She and the singer, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, married in 2007, divorced two years later, and have been battling in court ever since. Usher testified in May that during one visit, Tameka Raymond got into a fight with his girlfriend; Tameka Raymond's lawyer said he was exaggerating.

Justin Bieber, Usher Vie To Top Billboard Chart

For the past several years, Usher has been helping his protégé Justin Bieber become an international pop star. The pair have collaborated on songs and onstage, but now they are about to have their first battle — on the charts.

Usher's album, Looking 4 Myself, debuted on top of the Billboard albums chart, becoming his fourth #1 album after selling 128,000 copies in its first week. But now it's Bieber's turn: Just one week later, Bieber will be entering the charts with his third studio album, Believe and early predictions are expecting huge album sales.

According to Billboard, Believe is on course to sell between 410,000 and 440,000 units, which would make it the year's biggest debut to date.

Even though Bieber is on track to beat his mentor in sales, the R&B superstar isn't concerned.

Regarding whether he and Bieber speak about topping each other on the charts, Usher told MTV News, "Actually, we have not had that conversation. We try to calculate when we release so that we support each other. It's like a seesaw: 'You take it this week; I'll take it this week.' "

Usher also said that even though he and Bieber do not appear on each other's albums, he was still heavily involved in each song that made the cut on Believe.

"We talked about many different things when making his album. The coolest part about it is we support each other regardless if I'm on the album or he's on my album or not," Usher said. "Every album, it is that sit-down that we have to have, to go through this record. We talk about the audiences that are there: This song is for this audience member, this song is for this region. And that's always very helpful."

Bieber shared during "MTV First: Justin Bieber" that he still turns to Usher for sound advice.

"He's just giving me the advice of: Always keep the people that were there at the beginning and keep them with you, because those are the people that really care and they want to see you succeed."

Usher: "Justin Bieber Is Writing Incredible Records"

Usher has exclusively told MTV.co.uk that protégé Justin Bieber's forthcoming album Believe shows his growth as an artist.

The Climax singer, who released his seventh studio LP Looking For Myself this week, says that JB's record will surprise his fans as he has been heavily involved in the writing process.

Speaking of Bieber's third record, Usher told us: "I think that as he grows, so will his musical experience. I think that his writing is really great and that is the one element that I felt was kind of like the hidden secret, the hidden sauce.

"The fact that he has been significantly involved in who he is as an artist which is what you want. You don’t want just a product of something, somebody find a record for you and it just goes. He literally is writing his own music and that’s cool."

He continued: "You know every time I’m with him, I’m like 'where’s your guitar? Keep that guitar in your hand' so he is actually writing incredible records.

"The textures that he chose to work with were a little bit more kind of classic, classic R&B. There is a record called Catching Feelings that is probably one of my favourites, it's an incredible record."

Usher also discussed his planned collaboration with Amy Winehouse, which unfortunately never happened following the Back To Black singer's death in July 2011, stating he still managed to hit the studio with her long-time producer, Salaam Remi, to work on album track, Sins Of My Father.

He explained: "You know working with Salaam Remi kind of came as a product of wanting to explore and try different things.

"I had been speaking with Amy Winehouse loosely about us working together and of course I knew Salaam Remi would probably be the best producer to do it because I felt like he would understand both of us and he had such success with her.

"I had conversations with my A&R, Mark Pitts about us working together. Shortly after, unfortunately, we lost Amy Winehouse but it was still an opportunity for us to work together. So we got in and we worked on an incredible record called Sins Of My Father."

Following Cheryl Cole's claims that she would love to collaborate with Usher, we asked the OMG hitmaker if he would be keen to hit the studio with Chezza.

He explained: "There has been a conversation for I think the last four years but it has been something that never happened. It seems like a pretty cool idea to everybody but I don’t know. See if it happens naturally."

Usher's new album Looking For Myself is out now.
