Check out Adam Levine in this newly released music video for his band Maroon 5‘s single “Maps,” from their upcoming album V.

In the new clip, the 35-year-old front man finds the love of his life lying in a hospital bed in critical condition after she stormed out of a party after he was cozying up to another woman.

“This album is very much all over the place. There’s some stuff on our record that sounds a little like early Maroon 5, and then there’s some stuff that sounds like the newer direction that we went in,” Adam recently told MTV. “We thought we’d get back to certain elements that we’d been missing out on for a while with our original sound, but also bridge the gap with the new stuff that we’ve been doing. I think it’s an all-encompassing kind of record.”

Taylor Swift music's $50 million woman

Taylor Swift, who was the first woman to pack Australian stadiums since Madonna, flogged her rivals to be music's top earner in 2013 according to US website Billboard.com's annual rich list.

Swift, now 24, made more than $44 million in 2013 based on Nielsen data and Billboard's own data — it runs the charts in the United States. More than $33 million of Swift's earnings came from ticket sales for the Red tour, which she brought here in December, last year. The rest came from physical album sales, downloads and streaming.

Swift's touring revenues were higher than any other artist on the planet, she was fifth highest earner on streaming royalties and sixth on downloads. She was downloaded 10 million times last year.

Sales of Swift's merchandise and her various sponsorships, (including Diet Coke, Elizabeth Arden and Keds, which are flat canvas shoes) were not counted in Billboard's estimates although the website estimated she would have earned at least an extra $11 million.

American country star Kenny Chesney was the second highest earner (but was $7.5 million behind Swift) with over $36 million income. The world's leading male slashie Justin Timberlake was next, then Bon Jovi and septuagenarian juggernaut, The Rolling Stones, rounded out the top five.

The top 10 was completed by Beyonce, Maroon 5, emerging country star Luke Bryan, Aussie favourite Pink and Fleetwood Mac.

Miley Cyrus: iHeartRadio Music Festival & Village Lineup!

Miley Cyrus will be headlining the brand new iHeartRadio Music Festival Village during the annual iHeartRadio Music Festival!

The iHeartRadio Music Festival is now in its third year and is set to take place on Sept. 20 and 21 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

The 20-year-old singer will play at the new daytime show held at a 15-acre parking lot adjacent to the arena. That space will be free to ticketholders and will also feature performances from Avril Lavigne, AWOLNATION, Pete Tong, Twenty One Pilots, and Jason Derulo.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake will be leading the main festival.

TOP PICK: Maroon 5 & Kelly Clarkson Announce Summer Tour 2013!

Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson are set to hit the road together this summer for an exciting tour!

The band will be headlining the 2013 Honda Civic Tour, kicking off August 1 in St. Louis and wrapping up on October 5 in San Diego.

Kelly will be a featured guest on the whole tour along with Adam Levine‘s The Voice contestant Tony Lucca.

“I think the live outdoor kind of summer vibe is always different than the indoor arena tour because there’s less emphasis on production and more on live music,” Adam said in an interview. “It’s kind of the purist form of a tour `cause there’s not too many bells and whistles.”
