Louis Tomlinson is sporting yet another new tattoo--this time a rope around his wrist.
And we're dying to know what the meaning is behind it, because, it looks fairly symbolic of something.
Louis and Zayn Malik visited a tattoo parlor recently in Maryland and Louis' ropey tat has been spied on Twitter.
Earlier this week, tattoo artist Paul Natale posted a photo on Instagram of Louis and Zayn at his studio, writing: "So.. One direction showed up today"
Take a closer look at Louis' rope tattoo, which circles his wrist--in front, it's knotted (infinity symbol?) but the back is snapped.
Hmm. That's a head scratcher.
Fans have been trying to sort out what the rope's hidden meaning is, with some thinking it's a shout out to broken ties in some way.
As for Zayn, there haven't been any new tattoo sightings, but it's rumored that he got a hashtag on his leg.
