During her time on The X Factor in 2010 Cher Lloyd proved herself to be a bit of a perfectionist when it came to her performances - she tried hard to do her best on stage and portray a certain image.
But it seems the singer, 19, may be letting her guard down as she did some excellent gurning as she arrived on the red carpet at the NARM Music Biz Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
Cher looked stylish in an all black outfit and a pair of gold studded high heels while she had her hair tied up in a bun on top of her head.
And while she showed off her sophisticated look she pulled some immense faces to show a different side to her personality.
However, some of these may not have been intentional and may have accidentally made her look a little more quirky than sexy.
Looking over her shoulder at some points Cher looked wide-eyed and at other moments she completely lost the plot and sucked her cheeks and lips into a full-on pout as she posed for the waiting paparazzi.
Cher, who has been adopted by the American music-loving public, was honoured at the event on Thursday and was handed a Digital Single Award which recognises musicians' achievements in music sales as well as streaming and music video plays online.
She also picked up her second RIAA award of her career for her song Oath.
So, apart from her random faces, it seems to be going pretty well for Cher out in the good old U S of A.
