One Direction's Louis Tomlinson Hits Back At Security Gun Reports On Twitter

Louis Tomlinson has hit back at reports that security for One Direction have been permitted to carry guns.

The 'Little Things' singers were said to be so worried about their safety while touring Mexico and the US in 2013, that they took extra security measures, including hiring security to carry guns for protection.

"They are the biggest boyband in the world. If their bosses say we need guns, then we have to get guns. They will be travelling to some dangerous areas in the world," a source was quoted as saying to The Mirror.

The insider also spilled on an alleged kidnap plot.

"There are lots of threats - the worst possibility is a gang will want to kidnap them," they revealed.

"But that won't be allowed to happen."

The group's security guards have all had to get social security cards and ID cards for America and Canada. And they may bring in armed guards who they have worked with before in Mexico."

However, group member Louis Tomlinson has denied that their security have been permitted to carry guns, taking to Twitter to dispel the rumours.

"I actually can't believe people actually believe that our security carry guns ? Biggest load of s**t I've ever heard ha :)," Louis tweeted.

It was reported last week that One D's managers fear the boys aren't fit enough to embark on the trek and have put them on an "intense fitness regime."

"We're concerned about them - and Liam is still healing after he broke his toe when he MacBook fell on it this summer in the US," a source told the Daily Mirror.

"Zayn and Niall have both been on crutches so now they're all on hardcore fitness regimes."
