At a recent press day, Brandon chatted about the hardest part of playing his on-screen persona, Grover: “Keeping him consistent but watching him grow. In the first one [movie] he was very giddy, a lot of energy, big and this one will kind of level him out making him mature. Making him older, not too old because you don’t want him being Grandfather Grover but you know, more mature, but still fun.”

Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters Teaser Trailer released

The teaser trailer for Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters has been released and shows Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T. Jackson battled terrifying sea monsters to retrieve the Golden Fleece and save their home.

This is the second instalment of the Percy Jackson series; the first Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief was released in 2010 and made $226m worldwide.

The new movie also stars Stanley Tucci and Anthony Head, and is set to be released on 14 August.

Star Logan Lerman sat down with MTV to chat about the much-anticipated sequel and what we’ll be seeing this time around.

“It takes place shortly after the end of the first one, and someone has come and poisoned the tree that protects our camp,” Logan shared. “All of the half-bloods are in danger of monsters coming and killing them, so they have to go on this huge quest in the Sea of Monsters to find the Golden Fleece to revive the tree and save the camp. It’s a huge adventure.”

'Percy Jackson' Will Go 'Bigger' Than Ever, Logan Lerman Says

Monday, the first trailer for "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" debuted exclusively on MTV News, and the preview was fit for the gods (and half-bloods). After three years of waiting, Percy and the rest of the Olympians are back for another adventure, this time to find the legendary Golden Fleece.

To get even more mythological goodness out of the preview, MTV News' Josh Horowitz recently sat down with star Logan Lerman to find out what would be different this time around. "The first one was big," Lerman said of 2010's "The Lightning Thief. "It's definitely a bigger story [in 'Sea of Monsters'], bigger monsters, bigger effects, 3-D."

As the trailer sets up, "Sea of Monsters" brings back many of the characters from "The Lightning Thief," but this time, their home is in danger. "It takes place shortly after the end of the first one, and someone has come and poisoned the tree that protects our camp," Lerman said. Logan Lerman Continues to Film ‘Percy Jackson’ on Memorial Day

Actor Logan Lerman was spotted out and about in Vancouver, Canada yesterday (May 28) as he continues to film the next movie in the Percy Jackson series. Dressed in character, Logan joined co-stars Alexandra Daddario and Douglas Smith as they shot scenes from Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.

In the scenes they were shooting, Logan and Alexandra were in a dark alley where they were fighting to save their friend from a group of men.

The movie is expected to hit theaters in March of 2013.
