Scooter Braun Gets Married & Justin Bieber Performs

Scooter Braun has tied the knot to his cancer activist fiancee Yael Cohen!

The 33-year-old manager of Justin Bieber and many other artists received the support from all of his clients at the wedding in Canada this weekend.

Justin popped up during the ceremony to perform “All You Need is Love,” Ed Sheeran and Asher Roth performed “No Diggity” during the party, and Justin joined Carly Rae Jepsen for “Call Me Maybe” at the reception as well.

Other celebrities in attendance included family friend Sophia Bush and actor Tom Hanks, who took to the stage to “get his rabbi on,” according to one of the guests.

2013 Billboard Music Awards Best and Worst Dressed: Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and More!

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards red carpet (or blue, in this case) offered up plenty of best and worst dressed candidates for our list.

Who was a fashion hit? Who was a fashion fail? Read on to see how your favorite celebrities stacked up when it came to the 2013 BBMAs.

Worst Dressed: Ke$ha toned it down with black and we so wanted to love her for it, but the risqué slit up the thigh, turtleneck and ruffles were too much. We did adore her sleek pony tail and very minimal makeup (hair sparkles, of course, remain).

Best Dressed: Miley Cyrus knows how to take it up a notch, no doubt about it. And we love her for it. Miley wore a black and white jumpsuit, with plenty of fun detail--a beaded harlequin detailed panel on top and bottom, some sparkle and so much more in a little package.

Worst Dressed: Jennifer Morrison is gorgeous beyond belief, but the corset strapless lace top wasn't our favorite. Paired with a sheer long skirt and...well...we're not sold on the look.

Best Dressed: Taylor Swift wore the most electrifying shade of blue on the BLUE carpet, which we love! Taylor ditched the typical white and her signature red to rock out a brilliant blue cut out gown that had some really interesting detailing, including plenty of sheer back action.

Worst Dressed: Carly Rae Jepsen showed off a fresh look with a playful black mini showcasing a mix of sheer and fabric, for a sexy young look. However, there were some strange things going on with this dress that we're not in love with.

Best Dressed: Shania Twain was looking hot, hot, hot on the blue carpet, sporting gorgeous long hair and a flowing strapless dress with plenty of blingy accessories to pull the look together. We loved the shape, flow and detailing of this gown.

Worst Dressed: Jenny McCarthy showed off a tummy to die for, which we loved, but the sparkly ripped up skit and black booties were a bit of a fashion miss.

Best Dressed: Ariana Grande strayed from her signature pink to wear a little flirty black dress to die for! Ariana showed off her gorgeous shoulders in the strapless mini dress with plenty of sparkle, plus her hair and makeup looking amazing.

Worst Dressed: Alyssa Milano went over-the-top in white, with a detailed one shoulder top and sheer bottom, but she was totally washed out. We love Alyssa, but weren't smitten with her look.

Best Dressed: Jennifer Lopez was the golden girl at the red carpet arrivals, showing off a major plunging neckline and plenty of back. Also? Her hair and makeup were amazing, very fresh and simple.

Best Dressed: Selena Gomez went with a totally different look, rocking the most interesting plunging neckline we have ever seen. We love Sel in white and the slit up the side is gorgeous...we just can't get behind the green, yellow and pink accents.

Carly Rae Jepsen Q and A! What Has She Learned From Justin Bieber?

Remember how Carly Rae Jepsen teamed up with American Idol and Coca-Cola for this year's Perfect Harmony Project for a special performance?

Well, the day is finally here! Carly will be performing "Take A Picture," the song that you guys helped her choose the lyrics to. You'll be able to see her backup dancers' outfits and the lighting and set design that you voted for tonight on American Idol.

To show how much she appreciates your opinions, Carly answered a few of your questions!

C: Who is your favorite Glee character and why?
CRJ: I think Brittany is kind of hilarious. She has the best one-liners. :)

C: What have you learned from Justin Bieber? Has he given you any advice?
CRJ: I think he is one of the hardest working people I know and I really admire that. In fact, he kind of leads by example in that way. He is extremely supportive of my career and encourages me to keep working hard and be myself.

C: What's your favorite Jepsies story?
CRJ: I have a very sweet Jepsie named Pablo, he made an amazing lyric video for "Tonight I'm Getting Over You"! He also made a great one for "This Kiss." We had a Skype video call so I could thank him, and he told me that his dream was to get into filming and I felt so excited that he had all the talent and drive to really make it happen. It was a really cool connection with a fan/new friend and I'll never forget it!

C: What's your most embarrassing live performance moment?
CRJ: I flashed a crowd with my pink undies while doing a twirl. It was windy and I forgot the hot shorts. Oops.

Let's hope she doesn't have one of those moments tonight when she performs her song "Take A Picture" on Idol!

MTV EMA 2012 Complete Winners List

Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber brought home the gold Sunday (November 11) at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Frankfurt, Germany.

Upon hearing three gong crashes, signifying her three big wins, Swift practiced her German while humbly exclaiming, "Drei? Drei? I can't believe you gave me three awards!" Swift, who looked stunning walking down the red carpet in a beaded J. Mendel gown, cleaned up at the awards show, winning Best Female, Best Live and Best Look.

Bieber, who was not in attendance but made plenty of headlines over the weekend due to his reported breakup with Selena Gomez, won Best Male, Best Pop and Best World Stage. Bieber's pal Carly Rae Jepson, who was the first artist signed to his Schoolboy Records, took home two trophies: Best Song for her hit "Call Me Maybe" and Best PUSH. She celebrated by crowd-surfing during her electrifying performance.

No Doubt, PSY, Pitbull, the Killers and Swift each graced the Frankfurt stage with performances of their hits. The late Whitney Houston, who passed away last February, was honored as a Global Icon and is the third artist to receive the honor after Bon Jovi and Queen.

Justin Bieber seems to be getting a bit frisky with Carly Rae Jepsen

Holding hands, dancing closely and Justin Bieber then falls for her (no, literally he does). We're not talking about the Bieb and his girlfriend Selena Gomez (who Justin quickly seemed to forget about) but about Biebs and Carly Rae Jepson, who he performed a duet with last night.

If we didn't know any better, we'd have thought Justin was young, free and single (we'll give him young) as he got down and dirty on stage with Carly, in their native Canada.

The pair sung Carly's song Beautiful, which must have got Bieber in a spin, as towards the end of the song, he fell down some steps, leaving Carly to save his blushes, catching him before he landed on his bottom. (Damn you Jepson - the Bieb falling slap bang on his bum would've been hilarious. Although not nearly as funny as him throwing up all over the stage...)

Carly and Justin already have history behind them, as he kindly helped to make her the star she is today.

Just last year, Justin tweeted to his 29 million followers (yes, 29 million! But, hey, we're almost catching up with him!) about how much he loved Call Me Maybe (you know, the one where she meets a guy, and although it's crazy, she gives him her number, so he can call her...maybe... GOD WE LOVE IT) and the song became an instant hit - with Carly then joining Justin on his world tour.

Carly Rae Jepsen: "Bieber Duet Is A Friendship Ballad"

Carly Rae Jepsen has teased her forthcoming collaboration with Justin Bieber, exclusively telling MTV News that it is a "friendship ballad."

The Call Me Maybe singer has teamed-up with label mate Biebs on track Beautiful for her debut album Kiss and claims fans will be more than pleased with their "charming" duet.

When asked to described the track in three words, Jepsen told us: "It's kind of like a friendship ballad, it's kind of charming and it's sweet and a little bit of a different flavour to what I have on my album too.

"So I will say charming, friendly and hopefully feel-good, I think it's like a feel-good song for sure."

Speaking of what it was like to work with Justin in the studio, Carly revealed: "It was really exciting, I had actually just flown into LA for the first time to meet Scooter [Braun] and my whole team at School Boy Records and Interscope and I was pretty nervous to meet Justin.

"He was just a regular guy, so nice, so talented but at the same time really humble about it and played me some songs from his record Believe and one of the tunes was the song Beautiful and he'd written it with a good friend and producer that we both know, named Tony Gad."

She continued: "I remember just thinking 'wow, this is such a different flavour that I'd ever think of doing, it's really cool' and he asked me if I'd like to sing on it. Of course, I was very excited to do that, and we did it that night.

"I was going to go to bed but they were like 'why don't you just jump into the studio tonight and finish the song right now?' So, fifteen minutes later I was in the vocal booth."

Carly then went on to address her gratitude to Biebs for his continued support of her career, stating: "I couldn't ask for a bigger gift than having Justin come to Canada and shed some light on my project and really give me the opportunity to be here today and to be travelling the world and getting to do music for a living.

"Since I was seven years old, this is all I've been wanting to do, and having him kind of be my supporter and really my introduction to everything; it's the greatest gift, I'm forever thankful to him for that."

The same week that his new book, "Just Getting Started," arrived at your local bookstore, Justin Bieber sat down with Ryan Seacrest to talk about some of his other jobs. Besides begin as author, Bieber is also, of course, an international pop sensation, but also apparently a soon-to-be music mogul.

"I was just like, 'This is probably the most catchiest song I ever heard in my whole life.' Like, 'Who thought of this song?' " he recalled during the NBC "Rock Center" interview. "All my friends in the car, like, 18-year-old guys, singing this song and I'm like, 'Who is this person?' I told Scooter, 'This song is amazing.' I tweeted about it."

Jepsen eventually signed to Braun's Schoolboy Records label and is set to release her debut album, Kiss, on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bieber, who's prepping for a sold-out world tour, certainly has a lot on his plate but he still feels he has a lot to prove. "In some ways, I am the underdog because there's people that don't believe I can't make the transition," he said about going from teen superstar to an adult version.

"I feel like I'm definitely growing up. I think that when you're 18, you're not fully a man yet," he said. "I feel like I still have my young moments; I don't take it too seriously. I just don't want to be another teen heartthrob. I just want to prove people wrong."

Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen’s Duet is Simply ‘Beautiful’

We’re not quite sure the internet is ready for another Carly Rae Jepsen song — especially one featuring teen dream Justin Bieber – but it’s happening, so let’s make sure we’re all prepared for the earth-shattering squeals that will follow its release.

Bieber, 18, discovered Jepsen, 26, last year when he overheard her single, “Call Me Maybe,” while on a trip in his native Canada. And, well, the rest is history. After Bieber uploaded a video of him and his friends singing along to the song, “Call Me Maybe” became an overnight sensation — and it was recently dubbed the “Song of the Summer” by Billboard.

Now the Biebs and his protege are collaborating on a slow-tempo track, simply called “Beautiful.”

Bieber and Jepsen released a sneak preview of the duet on Wednesday. The sugary sweet track will appear on Jepsen’s upcoming album, Kiss.

“You’re not trying to be perfect, nobody’s perfect, but you are to me,” Jepsen croons. “What makes you so beautiful is that you don’t know how beautiful you are to me,” Bieber follows.

Jepsen’s forthcoming album, Kiss, is one of the most anticipated releases of fall, and it has many critics wondering if Jepsen can follow-up her massive U.S. debut. The album drops Sept. 18.

Meanwhile, Jepsen and her teenaged mentor are both up for Moonmen at the 2012 MTV VMAs Thursday night. Bieber is nominated for Male Video of the Year, while Jepsen will go head-to-head with One Direction for Best New Artist.
