A father, his daughter, and his son all navigating the rough waters of love and relationships — such is the story of upcoming film Stuck in Love, starring Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, and Logan Lerman.

Stuck in Love features Kinnear as Bill Borgens, a veteran novelist who hasn’t been able to write since his divorce three years earlier. Still obsessing over his ex-wife, Erica (Jennifer Connelly), Bill gets a talking-to for spying on Erica from his own daughter, Samantha (Lily Collins), also an aspiring writer. Samantha has her own relationship problems at college, where she’s recoiling at the very thought of first love with diehard romantic Lou (Logan Lerman). Meanwhile, Bill’s teenage son, Rusty (Nat Wolff), is trying to find his voice, both as a fantasy writer and as the unexpected boyfriend of his school’s dream girl.

Formerly called Writers, the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last fall.

Logan Lerman: 'Writers' Premiere at TIFF

Logan Lerman suits up for the premiere of Writers during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival at the Ryerson Theatre on Sunday night (September 9) in Toronto, Canada.

The 20-year-old actor joined costars Lily Collins, Nat Wolff and Liana Liberato on the red carpet before heading to the post premiere reception at the Virgin Mobile Arts & Cinema Centre.

Earlier in the day, Logan joined his Perks of Being A Wallflower cast — Mae Whitman, Ezra Miller, Nina Dobrev and Johnny Simmons — at the Variety Studio and The Hollywood Reporter TIFF Video Lounge presented by Canon.

Lily Collins, Logan Lerman, Kristen Bell join 'Writers'

Lily Collins, Logan Lerman and Kristen Bell have joined the cast of Writers.

The three have signed on alongside Nat Wolff, Liana Liberato, Rusty Joiner and Patrick Schwarzenegger for Josh Boone's directorial debut, which begins shooting next week, reports Variety.

Stephen King will also make a cameo as himself.

The comedy drama stars Greg Kinnear as a famous novelist obsessed with his ex-wife, who will be played by Jennifer Connelly.

Collins will co-star as their collegiate daughter, who is similarly being pursued by fellow writing student Lerman.

Wolff will play Kinnear's young son, with Liberato as his love interest.

Bell will feature as Kinnear's friend-with-benefits who is desperately trying to help him get over the breakdown of his marriage.

Collins recently signed on to modern-day Romeo and Juliet update Rosaline.

Bell is due to lend her voice to Disney's Frozen, as well as taking a starring role in Some Girl(s).

Writers will begin shooting next week in North Carolina.
