Justin Bieber Scores Fifth #1 With Believe Acoustic

Some kids graduate high school at 14, or become doctors while their peers are still attending frat parties.

But, according to Billboard, no one else can say they've landed five #1 albums before the age of 19. Justin Bieber will score that rare triumph next week when Believe Acoustic debuts atop the Billboard 200 chart on sales of 211,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.

Label Island Def Jam Music Group also noted that the debut makes Bieber just the 10th act in history to have a #1 album in four consecutive years, even as his latest hits the #1 spot on iTunes in more than 63 countries. (He actually broke a tie with Miley Cyrus with his latest feat, since she had four #1s before she turned 19 and Bieber doesn't hit that milestone until March 1.) Bieber will celebrate his triumph on Saturday, when he's the guest host and music artist on "Saturday Night Live."

Elsewhere in the top 10, Canadian sister act Tegan and Sara scored their career best debut with the more pop-oriented Heartthrob, which moved 49,000 units. Further down the line, former "American Idol" rocker Colton Dixon came in at #15 with his debut, A Messenger (22,000).

The smash Super Bowl halftime show reunion will likely goose numbers next week, but in its first go-round for the Destiny's Child hits collection, Love Songs, had a soft landing, coming in at #72 on sales of less than 6,000. The group's catalog had a major jump
on iTunes and other digital services after Sunday's performance and experts predict the real chart impact will come next week.

And it might be a short trip to the top next week for Bieber, as new faces will include the latest from popera singer Josh Groban, the latest in the Now series and a new album from Tim McGraw.

Bieber Rules Billboard 200 top 10
1) Justin Bieber, Believe Acoustic
2) Andrea Bocelli, Passione
3) Tegan and Sara, Heartthrob
4) Charlie Wilson, Love, Charlie
5) "Pitch Perfect" soundtrack
6) Bruno Mars, Unorthodox Jukebox
7) Mumford & Sons, Babel
8) Gary Allan, Set You Free
9) Lumineers, self-titled
10) Taylor Swift, Red

The iTunes digital sales chart reflected the continued success of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's breakthrough hit, "Thrift Shop," which held on at #1, while the rest of the tally looked pretty similar to last week. will.i.am and Britney Spears were at #2 with, "Scream & Shout," followed by Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble," retiring EDM superstars Swedish House Mafia with "Don't You Worry Child (Radio Edit)," the Lumineers' smash "Ho Hey" and Lil Wayne's "Love Me."

Bruno Mars landed a rare double play with new single "When I Was Your Man" at #7 and "Locked Out of Heaven" at #8, ahead of Maroon 5's "Daylight" and Justin Timberlake's comeback single, "Suit & Tie." This week also marked a high-water mark for the iTunes store, which reported that its 25 billionth song was downloaded this week.

Billboard Digital Songs Chart
1) Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, "Thrift Shop" (381,00 downloads)
2) will.i.am, "Scream & Shout" (170,000)
3) Taylor Swift, "I Knew You Were Trouble" (162,000)
4) Swedish House Mafia, "Don't You Worry Child" (122,00)

7) Bruno Mars, "When I Was Your Man" (105,000)
8) Bruno Mars, "Locked Out of Heaven" (105,000)

Justin Bieber's 'Nothing Like Us' for Selena Gomez Leaks

"Nothing Like Us", the bonus track in Justin Bieber's forthcoming "Believe Acoustic" album, was leaked online. It's the second track from the album to be unintentionally released with only a few days before the January 29 official date. It follows the online revelation of the 18-year-old pop superstar's "Yellow Raincoat" yesterday.

The track is a breakup song, with Bieber channeling his much-publicized two-year relationship with 20-year-old singer and actress Selena Gomez. As the song title implies, the romance with Gomez was unlike any other for The Biebs which may explain their on-again-off-again status when they were still together.

The song's lyrics detail how Bieber was dumped by Gomez and how devastated he became over it. "I gave you everything, baby, everything I had to give/ Girl, why would you push me away?/ Lost in confusion, like an illusion/ You know I'm used to making your day/ But that is the past now, we didn't last now / Guess that this is meant to be/ Tell me was it worth it? We were so perfect/ But baby I just want you to see."

From his "Baby" breakthrough days, Bieber has since matured musically, starting from his "Believe" album and more so now in its acoustic version, which can be safely assumed based on "Nothing Like Us" and "Yellow Raincoat". The stripped-down versions are sure to make Bieber's voice stand out, singing his true-to-life, heartfelt lyrics without all the technical sounds his previous dance hits were embellished with.

Justin Bieber Strips Down 'As Long as You Love Me' in Live Video

Mere days before he releases his fifth album, "Believe Acoustic," Justin Bieber is out with a new, laid-back live video for "As Long as You Love Me."

Wearing a sleeve-less jean vest and accompanied by his musical director Dan Kantner on guitar, the 18-year-old Bieber effortlessly croons the "Believe" standout, adding "la-lala-lala-la-la-lala-lala-la-las" to the hook without missing a beat.

The video, which was shot in Australia, gives fans a taste of what's to come on "Believe Acoustic," which includes entirely reworked, stripped down versions of songs from his previous album. The set, out Tuesday Jan. 29, also includes three new songs.

If "Acoustic" debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 as expected, Bieber will be the only artist in history to have five No. 1 albums before turning 19. He would also be just the 10th act to score a No. 1 album in four consecutive years.

Bieber graces the cover of this week's Billboard magazine in what is the lone major interview he's done for the new album. Buy a copy here -- also on the iPad -- and return to Billboard.com on Monday to read the exclusive cover story and get a first listen of a track from the record.

Justin Bieber: Selena Gomez Song ‘Yellow Raincoat’ Leaks Early — Listen

Fans are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Justin Bieber’s new album ‘Believe Acoustic’ on Jan. 29, but on Jan. 23, a new track about Selena Gomez leaked!
Justin Bieber’s song “Yellow Raincoat” is one of the few new tracks on his upcoming album Believe Acoustic, and it’s reportedly about his ex Selena Gomez! Lyrics such as, “Cause the fame, and the money, and the girl will drive you crazy,” hint at his tumultuous relationship with Selena.

The Lyrics To ‘Yellow Raincoat’:
Guess i’ll put on my raincoat, my yellow raincoat
Baby it’s keeping me fright
I put on my raincoat, my yellow raincoat
You know exactly why

When the wind blows, and the sun goes away
And the sand fall, storming me dead, it’s a destroyer, this is for you
And as it pours down, the water sprinkles off my chest, it’s destroyer, it’s likeis to ya

Whenever I do have it, do I have it, want this to face me
Whenever I do have it, do I want this thing to make me
Cause the fame, and the money, and the girl will drive you crazy
Another he say, she say, i’m thinking maybe
Just put on…

Guess i’ll put on my raincoat, my yellow raincoat
Baby it’s keeping me fright
I put on my raincoat, my yellow raincoat
You know exactly why

But as I look around, I see, when i’m thinking never, change me
Well all I gotta do, is stand me
Let’s the rest do the work and i’ll show that i’ll be fine, be fine

When the wind blows, and the sun goes away
And the sand fall, storming me dead, it’s a destroyer, this is for you
And as it pours down, the water sprinkles off my chest, it’s destroyer, it’s like is to ya

Turutu turutu….

Guess i’ll put on my raincoat, my yellow raincoat
Baby it’s keeping me fright
I put on my raincoat, my yellow raincoat
You know exactly why

Interestingly, Selena, 20, was reportedly wearing a yellow raincoat on the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios theme park on Dec. 28! Could that be the “yellow raincoat” that Justin, 18, is singing about? Maybe it’s a subtle reference without being too obvious.

Believe Acoustic is out officially on January 29 and we can hardly wait! We’re so excited!

Justin Bieber Reveals Final Tracklist for 'Believe Acoustic'

It's still two weeks before the January 29 release date set for his upcoming album "Believe Acoustic", but Justin Bieber just can't wait anymore to reveal its final tracklist. The teen sensation posted a photo of the album's back cover on his Twitter account, confirming the final ten songs that made it to the cut plus one bonus track from the Biebs.

"Ready? #newmusic - with everything going on I'm gonna tell u myself how I feel #15Days," Bieber tweeted to his followers on Monday night, January 14, as he disclosed the 7 acoustic versions and one live version of his "Believe" hits, two new songs "Yellow Raincoat" and "I Would", and the bonus track "Nothing Like Us". "Boyfriend", "Beauty and a Beat" and "All Around the World" are among the "Believe" hits that made it to the new stripped-down album.

Bieber also asked fans for advice regarding his hosting gig on the hit TV comedy-musical show "Saturday Night Live" which comes in a few weeks. The Biebs reportedly will not hold anything back for his "SNL" stint, based on his latest tweet "coming up with ideas for #SNL ... #nothingisofflimits." "SNL" might poke fun at his on-and-off romance with singer/actress Selena Gomez and even his recent pot smoking scandal.

Bieber might have just had the final breakup with Gomez after a string of fights and eventual make-ups. They reportedly got into a huge fight while on a New Year's vacation in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico over rumors that Bieber was still seeing Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin. Gomez cut her trip short after the confrontation and she's reportedly refusing to reconcile ever again with The Biebs.

"Believe Acoustic" Album Tracklist:
"Boyfriend"
"As Long as You Love Me"
"Beauty and a Beat"
"She Don't Like the Lights"
"Take You"
"Be Alright"
"All Around the World"
"Fall" (Live)
"Yellow Raincoat"
"I Would"
"Nothing Like Us"

Justin Bieber’s ‘Believe: Acoustic’: Two Bonus Tracks Revealed

Despite the controversy surrounding his alleged affinity for smoking weed, Justin Bieber is keeping the focus on his upcoming acoustic album. He’s now revealed the names of two previously unreleased bonus tracks for Believe Acoustic (out January 29) by tweeting the caption “Focused” along with the album cover (see above), which called out the two new songs.

When the “Beauty And The Beat” singer originally released the album’s track list, it included just eight titles, one of which was unnamed. But he soon added two more, claiming “8 wasn’t enough” and that he “had to write some more new ones.” The eighth track remains a mystery, but we’re still holding out hope for that rumored collab with Ed Sheeran. For now, find out the titles of the two new songs after the jump.

While the names “Yellow Raincoat” and “I Would” leave a lot to the imagination, we’re pretty sure Beliebers everywhere will dissect every possibility until the record’s release. A song for Selena Gomez, perhaps? Or maybe he just really likes protective outerwear.
