Taylor Swift is the queen of making people feel better. Just ask Ben, a leukemia patient who she came to visit at Boston Children's Hospital in early August.Tay surprised the ailing fan when she surprisingly stopped by his hospital room to meet him. Not only did she get to know him like a BFF, but they performed a sweet cover of Adele's "Someone Like You" together.
Taylor sang the lyrics while Ben accompanied her on a keyboard that he had moved into his room a week before. Luckily for us, he just posted a video of their time together online.
"I just think its [sic] so awesome and nice that she came especially for that purpose," he wrote.
Ben told Mashable.com that spending time with Taylor was one of the "most amazing experiences" of his life. "When she first stepped in she gave me a hug and she immediately started a conversation with me, just like the kind of conversation you'd have with a new friend," he said.
"She is very nice and affable, and because of that all my nerves went away. I never dreamed a celebrity could be as down-to-earth and nice as she was."
