Is Niall Horan looking to buy a football (soccer?) club...following in One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson's footsteps? At first glance, we figured, sure, that could be possible, but you've got to check out this crazy story that pulled Nialler's name into the mix.
According to The Derby Telegraph, a Moroccan businessman issued a statement that noted, in part, that he "personally held talks recently with Global English Star and One Direction Band member Niall Horan" to talk about Nialler buying the Salisbury City football club.
And then things fell apart a bit, as five local investors claimed the Moroccan gent doesn't own the football club, therefore he never spoke with Niall. Oh, and they're filing legal action claiming "fraudulent misrepresentation."
The businessman fired back by saying he has been talking with Niall about the business deal. According to Blackmore Vale magazine, the businessman "issued a bizarre statement saying he had hired an Argentinian manager and had been in talks with singer Horan about joining him in owning the Wiltshire club – although the star "politely" declined the offer."
