Taylor Swift is currently living in New York City, it's obvious now. So what happens when she goes to a local bookstore to buy some books?
The singer was spotted at McNally Jackson bookstore in the city Tuesday afternoon. Of course, her visit didn't go unnoticed.
A Gawker.com reporter hilariously blogged about his experience tracking Tay down at the store, which is two blocks away from his work office. He pretty much said that he failed at life when it came to finding her IN the store. No one in the bookstore would tell him where she was and even told him to "Google" it...how rude. No worries. Like all of us awesome journalists out there he found her and got a glimpse of the star...when she was leaving the store.
As for what pieces T-Swift purchased, "She had a small stack of books which I couldn't really make out. Saw that she took a few selfies with some middle-aged fans. There were probably sixty people outside waiting for her. Got into a big black truck. She was browsing books in the New York section now that I'm thinking about it. Seemed like she was having a pretty normal day," one bystander reported.
Maybe she's trying to find out more about her new city? We're surprised she wasn't looking at cook books...or cat ones. And what's up with the selfies with old people? Oh, Taylor...
