Liam Hemsworth might not be the big jerk we think he is after all. The actor and Miley Cyrus' ex husband-to-be reportedly put their breakup drama aside and contacted her during her recent hospitalization.
"He was extremely worried when he heard she was in the hospital," says a source close to Liam. "They didn't work out as a couple, but he still wants to know she's okay."
The insider also mentioned that Liam hit Miley up during her current hospital stint and that they spoke briefly. Liam reportedly told friends that he "still cares" about her, which totally makes sense considering they were engaged and all.
All of this comes after the ex-lovers haven't been seen together or even really talked about each other in months. Miley was forced to cancel the rest of her U.S. Bangerz tour last week after she had a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics. Since then, she has been in the hospital and has entertained us with her selfies and tweets. Don't worry. The twerking queen is expected to make a full recovery.
