It was just one of those days for Selena Gomez.
The 21-year-old pop star took the stage Wednesday at Brooklyn's Barclays Center and got extra emotional while singing "Love Will Remember," the heartfelt ballad off her latest album, "Stars Dance," that is allegedly about ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
Gomez was noticeably teary-eyed throughout the entire song, but the starlet had a particularly hard time getting out the lyrics, "We used to be inseparable, I used to think that I was irreplaceable."
At the song's end, Gomez gushed to her fans how grateful she was for their support.
"After everything I go through on a daily basis, you guys never fail to make me smile so thank you so much," she said.
The brunette beauty also expressed how she can relate to everyone in the audience.
"Just like everyone else in this room, I have days where it just sucks," she told the crowd.
Later Wednesday night, Gomez took to Instagram to explain why she burst into tears at the end of the show.
"Never ended such a beautiful show in tears because they wouldn't allow me to Instagram tonight. Completely heartbroken and pi---d. Thank you SO much Brooklyn. Ill be stopping outside Letterman tomorrow to make it up if you can make it. I love you guys more than you know. Promise," she wrote.
Despite her explanation, according to fans on social media, Gomez also cried on stage Tuesday in Buffalo, N.Y., during the same song.
Before the July release of her new record, she told InStyle magazine how much that particular track meant to her.
"Obviously, 'Love Will Remember' is a personal song to me and I don't really need to say anything," she told the mag.
"I think my fans will get it. I think people will figure it out themselves ... I'm sure he'll like it too."
