In a new interview with Top of the Pops (via Unreality TV), Niall explained, "I'd love an American girl," adding, "In fact everyone in the group loves an American girl."
Ever the people pleaser, however, Niall said he'd be interested in a woman from anywhere, noting, "To me it doesn't matter where a girl is from. I like any girl I can hold a good conversation with."
He also rated his flirting skills--and it sounds like he could use a little improvement to bring him up to Harry and Louis' level.
Niall explained, "I can't compete against them. There's a way to do it and you have to be relaxed but sometimes I can get fidgety."
On a scale of 1 to 10, he said: "I'm just going to give myself a figure but don't ask me to explain it. I'm going to throw out a six."
