Louis Tomlinson is set to become a brother again after his mother Johannah 'is expecting twins'

As one fifth of one of the world’s biggest boy bands he’s often away from home.

But One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson may be planning some extra time with his family after he discovered that he is set to become a brother to twins.

The star’s mother Johannah Poulston, 40, and her partner Daniel Deakin, 30, are reported to be ‘over the moon’ at the news.

Louis’ new brothers or sisters are due in the late spring or early summer and will be his fifth and sixth siblings.

The 21-year-old singer already has two younger sisters, Lottie, 14, and Felicite, 12 and this is not the first time the family has been blessed with twins.

He also has eight-year-old twin sisters Phoebe and Daisy.

On Friday a source told The Sun: ‘It’s brilliant news. Everyone is made up, especially Louis who already adores his sisters.’

Speaking about Louis last year, his mum said: ‘He’s very caring and protective to me and his sisters. He sends money for their school trips and posts them Topshop vouchers.

He does lots of little things for me – he even paid for me to have a gardener because he wanted to make my life easier.

‘He rarely gets to come home, though he loves it when he does. He misses his sisters and his old bedroom, which we’ve kept exactly the same. He says sleeping in it gives him a sense of calm.’
Johannah and Daniel have been together for two years and met after she split from her ex, Mark Tomlinson, who is father to her girls.
