New images featuring several main cast of "Noah", due out on March 28, 2014, have surfaced online. The photos from RealWallFlower give a look at Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone and Russell Crowe, all in outfits seemingly made of rough fabrics.
The biblical pic from director Darren Aronofsky is headlined by "Man of Steel" star Crowe, and centers on the titular character who's given a divine mission to build an ark to save creation from the coming flood. Aronofsky additionally serves as co-writer alongside John Logan for the Paramount Pictures project.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Crowe says that the bible character is not like what people like to believe. "The funny thing with people, they consider Noah to be a benevolent figure because he looked after the animals: 'Awww, Noah. Noah and the animals.' It's like, are you kidding me?" he says. "This is the dude that stood by and watched the entire population of the planet perish."
"He's not benevolent. He's not even nice. At one point in the story his son says, 'I thought you were chosen because you were good?' And he goes, 'I was chosen because I can get the job done, mate.' "
Marton Csokas is also included in the ensemble of "Noah" for a supporting role.
