Little Mix look like they’re having a blast on the cover of the June/July 2013 issue of Seventeen magazine, on newsstands May 21st!
The girls — Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock — opened up to the glossy about their musical idols and getting advice from their friends One Direction.
On the Spice Girls: “When we met the Spice Girls, Emma Bunton told us to keep being friends because that’s the connection fans love you for.” (Jade)
On 1D’s advice: “I asked the boys from One Direction how to make it in America and they basically said: ‘Be yourself and you can’t go wrong. People know when you’re trying to be someone you’re not. Just be true to who you are.’ So that’s what we’ve been doing!” (Leigh-Anne)
