Demi Lovato sat down to chat with MTV today and was asked about Selena Gomez...she addressed how they have grown apart, but it sounds like they have mended their friendship.
Last week, Selena was asked about Demi and said she loves and admires that Demi is true to herself.
Demi explained that they're still friends even though "We've been through a lot together...we've had periods of times where we grew apart and just didn't really talk."
She added, "Now we're in a place where I think we realized that life is so short and when you have people in your life that love you so much, then you should just always be around them."
She had nothing but wonderful things to say about Selena, noting, "She has a great soul, she's talented, she's beautiful."
Demi added, "She will always be really, really close to my heart."
She also explained, "You know when you can pick up with someone right where you left off."
Sel and Demi are friends forever, even though they may not be quite as close as they once were.
