Jordan O'Keefe impressed the Britain's Got Talent judges on Saturday night after being spurred on by Niall Horan's success.
Irish lad Jordan went down a storm with his rendition of One Direction's ballad Little Things and he says that 1D star and fellow countryman Niall, 19, was his inspiration.
‘I auditioned for X Factor the same year as Niall Horan,' says Jordan, 18.
‘I was standing in the queue with him.
‘It drove me a lot more, seeing how far he went and how far he got from the boy that I met in the queue, it showed that could be me as well.'
Just like One Direction, Jordan has earned lots of new fans since impressing Simon Cowell and the panel and he's flattered by the attention.
‘It's been brilliant,' the singer tells Metro.
‘I am just refreshing my Twitter all the time and I'm seeing all these comments and it's amazing because how quick everything changes in 10 minutes of TV.
‘It was amazing. I now have 22,000 followers on Twitter. I only had 1,000 beforehand.'
