Miley Cyrus is said to be terrified her three year relationship and engagement with Liam Hemsowrth is over for good, after the hunk headed to Australia following rumours the pair had split over allegations of cheating.
Insiders have claimed this week the romance has ended following a rough patch made worse by claims Liam cheated on his fiancee with Mad Men actress January Jones. Despite the Hunger Games star leaving Miley in Los Angeles while he seeks solace with his family in Australia, the Hannah Montana star is reportedly desperate to save the crumbling romance and is scared of losing him.
“Miley is super independent, which Liam loves about her, but at the same time she’s an insecure girl who’s terrified of losing him and will do whatever it takes to make their relationship work,” a source told RadarOnline.
“This just goes to show Miley’s immaturity and lack of relationship experience — that she’s the one who’s dying to make it work with Liam, when he’s the one who strayed from their relationship!”
The pair reportedly got into a fight after Liam was spotted leaving a pre-Oscar party with January Jones, who he allegedly then hooked up with at a private party, according to tabloid rumour.
But insiders claim Cyrus now regrets “pushing” the 23 year-old babe away, over the alleged infidelity.
“Miley can be a super jealous girl and feels like she probably pushed Liam away,” the insider explained. “And even though she doesn’t really want to tame her wild ways, if she wants to keep Liam she’s going to have to. Either that, or she’ll completely rebel because she’s hurt and act out even more."
They revealed: “On the outside Miley likes to appear like she’s bad-ass and nothing bothers her, but on the inside she wants to be loved and doesn’t think she could ever snag another guy as amazing as Liam.”
Liam headed to Australia soon after speculation over their relationship began, with Miley spotted partying in Los Angeles without her wedding ring. He has been spotted hanging out with his family and heading to the beach with friends, with insiders claiming he needed space from the Disney star.
But Miley isn't taking the separation well according to friends and is desperate for the hunk to come back to Los Angeles so they can put their relationship right.
“If Miley has her way, the breakup won’t last because she’s head over heels for Liam and ultimately doesn’t want to lose him,” the source added. “But now that Liam is taking some time away from her, he might come to the realization that she’s not the best fit for him. And that terrifies Miley.”
