It is a known fact that the members of One Direction love themselves some tattoos. (Well, all of them apart from Niall Horan anyway, who’s yet to join his bandmates on the tattoo train.) From their shoulders to their chests, four of the five guys are loaded with ink. But, while the meanings behind all of their various additions are pretty vague to those not in their inner circle, the latest one’s a little more clear.
Louis Tomlinson, who inked himself up with a compass at the end of 2012, just debuted a picture of his freshest piece on Instagram — a steaming cup of tea; the paper airplane, stick figure and ‘oops!’ images were already there — with the caption “You can’t go to bed …”
Obviously, this is in reference to his verse in the Ed Sheeran-penned “Little Things,” “You can’t go to bed without a cup of tea // Maybe that’s the reason that you talk in your sleep…”
