Has X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato become the latest victim of Twitter hacking following the release of a 'naked' picture of her?
Well, not quite...
Earlier today, Demi's Twitter feed appeared to been hacked into after a tweet read: "Demi's twitter is hacked", before they posed a question to her followers:
"Want to see Demi naked?, adding minutes later: "Here it is..."
The 'hacker' then posted a picture of Demi's face superimposed on a naked barbie doll, with the caption:
"BAHAHAHAHA!!! Gotcha ;) hehehe."
However, the mystery of the hacker didn't last long as it appears that it was Demi who posted the 'naked' picture of herself. Tweeting about her prank, the X Factor USA judge who has riled Simon Cowell on the show recently, posted:
"Hahahahahahhaha I'm sorry y'all... But I had to... GOTCHA!! 😜😝😄😂😆 love you all. Goodnight!!"
Well, if Demi was looking for a bit of attention, she surely got it as the naked picture was retweeted by 4,333 of her followers in just under a hour of the picture being posted.
Whilst Demi might be having fun on her Twitter page, speculation surrounding her future on the X Factor has been raised after Simon told People magazine:
"It's that time of year [when] you're always going to get asked that question, and I'm not going to answer it."
Referring to their spats during the live shows recently, Simon continued: "It did get a bit bitchy and unpleasant. I've got to look after my artists. Luckily, they didn't listen to her." But he did add:
"She's fun... she really, really is a tough little thing. I know she plays the 'I've been bullied' [card] – trust me, this one gives as good as she gets."
