One Direction are performing on 'The X Factor' USA results show tonight (08.11.12).
The band - who finished third in the UK version of the show in 2010 - ''can't wait'' to give their American fans a chance to see them sing their hit singles 'Live While We're Young' and 'Little Things' live.
Zayn Malik said: ''Having come from the UK 'X Factor', we can't wait to perform on the US stage - it's going to be a great night!''
Fellow band member Niall Horan added that they're ''excited'' to see their mentor Simon Cowell again and they hope to make him proud.
He added: ''We're really excited to be on the American 'X Factor'.
''It'll be the first time we've performed in front of 'Uncle Si' since we were on the UK 'X Factor'. So, hopefully, we'll make him proud.''
The band - which also includes Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - made music history when their album 'Up All Night' charted number one on the US Billboard 200, and they became the first British band to reach the top spot with a debut record.
The 'X Factor' judges - Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid - will say goodbye to one of their contestants this evening as the final 12 become 11.
