One Direction star Niall Horan has been credited with making his forename the second most popular choice for newborn babies, according to a new report.
In a poll for Nameberry.com the name Niall is the second most popular of 2012 so far.

How many people are actually naming their babies after the 'One Thing' popstar remains to be seen, but it's definitely a well-loved contender in terms of search-based hits on the website.
The top-ranked names on the list were mostly taken from popular culture phenomenons such as The Twilight Saga and Game of Thrones.
