Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato have been a lot of things to each other: friends, tour mates, boyfriend and girlfriend, frenemies — and now they’re back to friends again. The exes are also both newly-minted talent competition judges: Joe is judging The CW’s The Next this August, while Demi is enjoying BFFing it up with Britney Spears on The X Factor Season 2.
Speaking exclusively to Wetpaint Entertainment, Joe gushes about how happy he is for Demi and her new gig — and gets a bit nostalgic! Joe says:
I was really pumped for her when I found out that she was going to be a judge on X Factor. I wrote her an email right away. I was really happy for her. It is funny to see that right now we’re both judges. It’s bizarre. If I went back in time and told Demi and myself 4 or 5 years from now [we’d] be judges on TV shows, I don’t think we’d believe it. I’m really happy for her.
