One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has admitted he is “devastated” over a Twitter campaign from fans attacking his current girlfriend Eleanor Calder and urging the star to get back with his ex-girlfriend Hannah Walker.
It seems the campaign has seriously back-fired on the 'Directioners' who started it with their idol seriously annoyed at their hurtful antics.
The 20 year-old broke up with the primary school teaching assistant last summer and started dating his current love Eleanor, a student at Manchester University and part-time model two months later.
But fans have claimed that the singer dumped his first love for the 19 year-old model and have been sending her abusive messages while praising Hannah.
They even got the word “Louhannah” combining Louis’ name with his first girlfriends’ trending on Twitter and have posted “tribute” videos of the couple together on YouTube.
The ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ star took to Twitter to attack those behind the campaign and admitted he was “very p**ed off”.
He tweeted: ‘Truth of the matter is it’s actually not funny in the slightest. I’m reading through some horrible tweets very ****ed off!’
A spokesperson for the Doncaster born singer told the MailOnline: “'It's upsetting for Louis and Eleanor when Twitter campaigns like this start. I know some of the fans will think it's a bit of fun, but it's unnecessary when they are both very happy together.”
The campaign has also caused upset for Louis’ ex Hannah who has reportedly tried to reach out to Eleanor Caulder through Liam Payne’s girlfriend Danielle Peaser.
She told the MailOnline: “I felt terrible so I sent a text to Liam’s girlfriend Danielle saying to tell Eleanor that I’m sorry if I’ve offended her. I didn’t want to look like an evil ex-girlfriend.”
One Direction fans need to calm down and stop being so nasty, we don't want you being mean when we start dating the boys!!
