Greyson Chance vows crowd




About 1800 fans turned up today at the KL Live at Jalan Sultan Ismail to catch a glimpse of American teen sensation, Greyson Chance as he performed live at his first major concert tour in Asia, Greyson Chance Live in Malaysia 2012.

Chance made headlines after his popular cover of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi went viral on YouTube attracting 46 millions hits, opened with him standing with his back towards his fans. A Malaysian flag was seen sewn into the back of his shirt.

The mood of the two-hour long concert, which started at 8.30pm was ecstatic as fans were overjoyed at seeing the 15-year-old singer performing up close.

The upbeat mood continued even after it was all over, as fans continued to hum his favourite tunes like "Hold On "till the Night," "Waiting Outside the Lines," and a few more. Not only that, he also performed a number of songs including Lady Gaga's Paparazzi on his grand piano.

"This is how is all started..." he said referring to his cover of the song, which also caught the attention of Ellen deGeneres and invited him on her show.

His debut single "Waiting Outside the Lines" was released in October 2010, while his debut album "Hold On 'till the Night" is now available at all major music stores.
