After being discovered on YouTube last October, Greyson Chance’s career has skyrocketed. Now, Greyson wants to help a young musician start their career!
Greyson is teaming up with Yamaha and Music & Arts to launch the first ever “Find You Voice” Facebook contest. The contest is for young musicians between 13-17 who are interested in showcasing their talent and becoming involved in the music industry.
Young entertainers are encouraged to submit a 3 minute video to www.MusicArts.com/findyourvoice for a chance to win a trip to spend time with Greyson Chance, learn how he got his start in the music industry, $2,000 towards a Yamaha instrument, a year of free music lesson, and a spot in Music & Arts advertising. Video submissions will be accepted until January 18, 2012. Fans across the nation will be able to vote on the top six finalists who will be chosen by a panel of independent music professionals based on artistry, technical talent, including ability to play an instrument, stage presence and production value.
Public voting will begin January 31, 2012 and the winner will be announced early March!
