Harry Styles is "forbidden fruit" for Simon Cowell's ex Sinitta.

One Direction singer harry Styles found fame on The X Factor UK in 2010 after being teamed up with bandmates Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne by Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger.

And Simon Cowell often invites his ex-girlfriend Sinitta, 45, onto the show to offer her musical expertise. She says the 20-year-old heartthrob was very forward when she met him.

"He's always been a cheeky boy!" she laughed to British magazine Star.

"I'm aware I looked young for my age when One Direction were on The X Factor and I remember having to remind him that I was old enough to be his mother!

"It's just what Harry does. He's very flirty and sweet and he loves women. That's not a bad thing! But for me, he's definitely forbidden fruit."

Simon is returning to the British X Factor as a judge for the next series. He has his hands full, as he and girlfriend Lauren Silverman welcomed baby Eric in February.

Sinitta recently joked she will "corrupt" her former flame's baby and revealed what she's got up her sleeve.

"I'm going to buy him lots of noisy toys!" she giggled.

"Simon doesn't do mornings, but over the years he's given my children so many noisy toys and says, 'You can play with this in mommy's bedroom!' I'm going to be wrapping them all up and sending them right back!"

One Direction invited to Simon Cowell's pre-show party before last Wembley performance

The boys are in Simon's good books it seems because they were firmly on the guest list for one of his big bashes

One Direction appear to have smoothed things over with Simon Cowell (assuming they were ever anything but), because they enjoyed a pre-show bash with him and a few more stars tonight.

The boys are storming Wembley for the last night, with their biggest hits sending One Directioners into mayhem yet again.

And as they thanked their loving fan base for all their support, the heartthrobs let slip where they'd been before hitting the stage.

X Factor boss Simon appears to have entertained them and a few select others before the show, with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw also there before watching the boys from the audience.

It comes after Zayn Malik was caught on film smoking a suspicious roll up, claimed to be a joint, with Louis Tomlinson heard laughing in the background. While the boys themselves haven't addressed the video in their shows yet, they have been overly thankful to the crowds.

Zayn said tonight: "We can't believe we got here. It's been a great four years."

The boys got everyone to sing along (not that they needed to ask) and Liam said at the end: "That was the loudest Little Things sing along ever."

He added: "I can't believe I'm in Wembley stadium in the middle of the pitch."

And what a cutie, he went on: "If there was a moment I could bottle forever, this would be it." Us too Liam, us too.

All the boys have been gushing non stop on Twitter throughout the weekend, and Niall tweeted earlier: "Wembley was just out of this world last night ! everything about it was great! Can't wait t do it all again tonight !"

Simon Cowell Addresses One Direction ‘Joint' Video Controversy: 'I Hope 1D Fans Stay Loyal'

Simon Cowell has spoken out for the first time since the release of the controversial video which appears to show One Direction’s Zayn Malik smoking a ‘joint’.

The Syco Records boss has denied that the clip - which was filmed by Zayn’s bandmate Louis Tomlinson - is a sign that the lads are going off the rails.

Speaking to The Sun, Simon said: “I’ve worked with the boys for a long time and they’re the hardest-working boys.

“They still haven’t changed, they are really respectful to the fans — a great British export.”

Si added that he’s hoping fans still support the band, insisting that 1D haven’t forgotten how important their huge fanbase is.

“What more can I say? I hope the fans stay loyal,” he said. “I worked with a lot of artists who do lose the plot and do lose respect for their fans and forget who put them there, which they have never done.”

The controversial video emerged online last week.

While Zayn smokes, Louis narrates the clip, stating: “So here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days!”

He can also be heard joking that “Mary J” - a slang term for marijuana - is “one very very important factor of Zayn’s warm up”.

Louis also appears to use a shortened version of the n-word in the video.

While Louis and Zayn are yet to address the clip, their bandmate Liam Payne has apologised to fans in a series of tweets, writing: “I love my boys and maybe things have gone a little sideways I apologise for that. We are only in our 20's we all do stupid things at this age.

“We all have a lot of growing up to do in an extreme circumstance I'm not making excuse but it's fact we are gunna fall short somewhere,” he added.

“Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us through this just know that we love you guys for it and it means the world.”

The band’s spokesperson has simply stated: “The matter is now in the hands of our lawyers”.

Simon Cowell lowers the age limit to 14 on The X Factor in the hopes of finding another, even younger, One Direction

Simon Cowell has lowered the entry age this year for The X Factor to 14 in the hope of finding another, even younger, One Direction.

According to The Sun newspaper he is convinced that the next big thing could be a young star, or a young group.

The last time that The X Factor allowed such young contestants on the show was in 2008 when Liam Payne from One Direction made it all the way to the judge's house in Barbados before he exited the show. After that year the show's limit went up to 16 where it has remained until now.

A show source told the paper: 'Simon knows that young people make the best pop stars.

'He desperately wants another One Direction or Cher Lloyd and they were very young when they appeared on the show.'

There are some though who disagree with the age limit being lowered on the show and who would prefer if it was actually increased to 18 from the current 16.

Simon might indeed have a fight on his hands though with former judge Gary Barlow only one who has been highly critical of 16 as as an age that is still too young to be on the talent show.

'Sixteen is just too young to be in this competition with this kind of pressure,' he told contestant Luke Lucas back in 2011 at the judges' houses stage.

One of last year's contestants, then 16-year-old Tamera Foster, battled nerves throughout the show and ultimately was eliminated, but has subsequently been picked up and signed to Simon's record label at age 17.

The class of 2013 are currently fulfilling dates across the UK for the obligatory X Factor tour, and Tamera has been joined on the road by the likes of Luke Friend, Nicholas McDonald and current beau Sam Callahan – with whom she was spotted strolling through Brighton ahead of a gig in the town.

Said tour has been a big success for Tamera, having helped her land a record deal with Syco after impressing the organisation's executives with her performances on the run of gigs.

The young singer was clearly delighted about putting pen to paper on a deal with the company and took to her Twitter account on Sunday morning to confirm the news.

Meanwhile the announcement of the age lowering on The X Factor comes just ahead of the first major open audition for The X Factor.

It takes place on Saturday in Dublin's Convention Centre.

The paper also notes that Welsh fans can try out at a mobile audition van on Barry Island if they prefer.

A representative from The X Factor confirmed the age lowering to 14 to MailOnline saying: 'This is to allow a new generation of budding singers to audition for the series. Anyone under the age of 18 will need their parent or guardian's permission to apply and they will also need their parent or guardian to accompany them to their audition.'

Simon Cowell to be Justin Bieber's neighbour

Simon Cowell is planning to buy a house next door to Justin Bieber.

The 'X Factor' boss is said to be in talks with an estate agent to buy a six-bedroom, £5.4 million home in Los Angeles for his new family, but the house is in the gated community of Calabasas known as 'The Oaks' where the 'Baby' singer is known for throwing wild parties at his own mansion.

A local resident said: ''You have to wonder whether Simon's people are even aware that Bieber lives in the neighbourhood.

''If he does move here with his family, he should know that the kid is a non-stop menace when he's in residence, throwing all night parties with his pals and generally wreaking havoc.''

Incidents at the 20-year-old pop stars home include arrests for drug possession and throwing eggs at neighbours properties, but Simon - who recently welcomed his first child, Eric, with girlfriend Lauren Silverman - is said to be unaware of who his future neighbour could be.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''He was apparently very excited when they sent him the details of The Oaks estate.

''But no one mentioned the fact - perhaps because they didn't know - that Justin Bieber will be one of his neighbours.''

One Direction Oscars snub 'disappoints' Simon Cowell

He’s had his hands full lately, but I hear Simon Cowell is rather put out the Oscars voting panel overlooked Harry Styles and his other One Direction lads.

Simon hoped their This is Us documentary would put them in line for a gong after breaking box-office records around the world.

He also hoped their hit Best Song Ever would land Best Original Song, and was stunned when it didn’t even make the 75-track shortlist.

The documentary was produced by Morgan Spurlock, former Oscar nominee for Supersize Me which, Simon felt, put it in a good position.

A source said: “Simon is disappointed. Some of the tracks on the list are virtually unknown.”

One Direction Reality Show Confirmed? It's "In the Works," Says Simon Cowell

We've seen the buzz about a One Direction reality show in the past...but did Simon Cowell confirm it's actually going to happen?

Simon said a TV show is "in the works," spilling the beans to the press at the Britain's Got Talent auditions last week.

He said, "I think there's something in the works, a possible TV show. We're going to be talking about that in the next couple of weeks."

Simon added, "They're always busy these guys. But the important bit is they've got a new album out this year."

Si is plenty busy with his new baby (check out the pics, too cute!), so we're guessing he's going to put business meetings aside for now.

Do you think a 1D reality show will happen...or was Simon talking about a TV special?

We'll be right over here waiting.

TOP PICK: Simon Cowell Welcomes Baby Boy Eric With Lauren Silverman

What a happy Valentine's Day for Simon Cowell, who became a father today for the first time with girlfriend Lauren Silverman!

The couple welcomed their first child at 5:45 p.m. EST in New York City. Their baby boy Eric weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and the X Factor judge nearly missed the big birth moment.

The 54-year-old was shooting in London this morning when Lauren first went into labor and hopped a private jet home as soon as he heard the news. Luckily, doctors were able to delay the birth, and he made it in time to see his son delivered at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Lauren was originally married to Simon's friend Andrew Silverman when the baby news originally broke last summer, but they were estranged at the time and have since divorced. This is Lauren's second child.

"Very happy to say Eric was born at 17:45 pm. Healthy and handsome," Simon Tweeted.

Congratulations to the new parents and happy family!

Simon Cowell: 'One Direction reality show in the works'

Simon Cowell has claimed that a One Direction reality show is "in the works".

The Syco boss spoke about the X Factor boyband's TV move and a new album while meeting Digital Spy and others at Britain's Got Talent auditions in London today (February 11).

"I think there's something in the works, a possible TV show," he said. "We're going to be talking about that in the next couple of weeks.

"They're always busy these guys. But the important bit is they've got a new album out this year."

Asked if he would want any member of One Direction to be a godfather to his son, Cowell replied: "If you ask one, you've got to ask five, so I don't think I can do that."

The 54-year-old then went into more detail about the upcoming birth of his child with socialite Lauren Silverman, telling reporters at the Hammersmith Apollo that he would like his offspring to have a British accent.

"I haven't really thought about it a lot, but it would be quite odd having a baby that talks with an American accent.

"Of course [I'm ready for fatherhood]. I'm good with kids and he'll be well looked after."

And Cowell warned that he could be racing out of a BGT show if he gets the call that Silverman has gone into labour.

"I'll have to," he said. "If it happens to today I'm out."

Simon Cowell WON'T join One Direction at the Brits - even thought they're up for two awards

Simon Cowell won’t be on hand to watch his golden boys One Direction potentially pick up two Brit awards this year.

The floppy-haired fivesome have been shortlisted for Best Group and Best British Single and Simon - the man who claims to have discovered them and is now their big boss - is delighted.

But we can reveal that the music mogul has had to give up his front row seat at the event, which will be held at London’s O2 Arena on February 10, because he needs to be in New York where his girlfriend Lauren Silverman will be in her last days of pregnancy.

Simon, 54, doesn’t want to risk missing the birth of his first child so has had to sacrifice celebrating 1D’s third year of Brits action.

He has told friends he is delighted that Harry, Zayne, Louis, Liam and Niall are tipped to win once again.

A source close to Simon said: “He hates missing the Brits, he is there every year because he likes to mingle with the great and the good of the music industry. However, when he has acts up for awards he loves to be there, he sees it as a really special occasion.

“But, now he is about to be a dad and he would be heartbroken if he missed the birth. He will be in New York waiting to become a dad so he has no choice. He will obviously be keeping everything crossed that the boys win though.”

However, Simon will still throw an afterparty on behalf of his company, SyCo, which is party of Sony Music, at a secret central London location.

Last year he hosted the bash, which was attended by all of One Direction, Justin Timberlake and Xtra Factor host, Caroline Flack.

Simon’s baby - a boy - is due on February 28. After the birth, he, the tot and Lauren, 36, are expected to return to London where Cowell will be starring on the live Britain’s Got Talent shows.

'X Factor' Cancelled By Fox

It’s official — The X Factor is not coming back.

The competition show, which featured Demi Lovato, Paulina Rubio, Kelly Rowland and Simon Cowell as judges, has been axed, after crowning Alex and Sierra the season three winners.

“I’ve had a fantastic time over the last 12 years, both on The X Factor and American Idol,” Simon shared in a statement.

He continued, “And apart from being lucky enough to find some amazing talent on the shows, I have always had an incredible welcome from the American public (most of the time!). Last year, for a number of reasons, I had to make a decision to return to the UK version of The X Factor in 2014. So for now, I’m back to the UK and I want to thank Fox for being an incredible partner and I also want to thank everybody who has supported my shows. America, I’ll see you soon!”

Other alums from The X Factor: Fifth Harmony, Emblem3 and Carly Rose Sonenclar.

Midnight Memories is a farce: Simon Cowell needs to accept One Direction have grown up

Their video for Best Song Ever was almost certainly their finest and with Ben Winston back in the director’s seat one again, I had high expectations for Midnight Memories.

However, their latest offering is painstakingly naff and it’s fast becoming glaringly obvious that Simon Cowell’s pride and joy are in desperate need of a re-brand.

Harry Styles is the youngest member of the group and today he turns 20. Had he gone to university he’d probably be living in halls right now, having a raucous night every night.

As it happens, his evenings out are probably much more debaucherous and yet their new video suggests he, Liam, 20, Niall, 20, Zayn, 21, and Louis, 22, are hanging out at the lamest house parties ever with a bunch of 13-year-olds on their nights off.

The fivesome are no longer the teenage rascals they were when they were put together in 2010 and it feels as if their people are trying too hard to retain their younger (albeit substantial) following.

1D are now grown men who hang around with adults, smoke, and have sex. Zayn is ENGAGED, headed for marital bliss with the adorable Perrie Edwards, and yet we’re supposed to believe that he and his chums consider an alcohol-free party – complete with balloons, lollipops, onion rings and a dog – an accurate depiction of their idea of fun?

It’s been reported that the boys are getting their kicks hijacking mobility scooters on the streets of London, while their US counterpart and close friend Justin Bieber is allegedly racing along the streets of Miami Beach in his Lamborghini. I’m not suggesting One Direction take a leaf out of Biebs’ book, but their manufactured image does not reflect who they have become.

A provocative VMAs performance with Robin Thicke and a bit of twerking should probably do the trick, Simon.

What Simon Cowell Is Looking for in Demi Lovato's Replacement on X Factor!

This season of X Factor recently ended, but that doesn't mean Simon Cowell and his team are taking a break.

Simon has known for quite some time that Demi Lovato wouldn't be returning, but we didn't know he'd already been searching so hard for her replacement. "We started thinking about next year three or four months ago," he told us. "There was one person we were chasing, which is important for the show." (And no, he didn't give any clues!)

We know Simon wants to sit alongside talented people at the judges' table, but what does he really look for in them? "What's really important now is that with all these judges, we're going to call them 'mentors' and they've actually got to do the job we're paying them to do which is to turn [the contestants] into recording artists," the 54-year-old entrepreneur told us. "And not just say 'You're good' or 'You're bad.'"

The potential new mentors have to be ready to "live and breath the show, because the hours we put are huge," says Simon. And that's not just on set. "Every Sunday night, three or four hours at my house."

We can't wait to see who makes the cut!

Demi Lovato -- How Dare 'X Factor' Joke About My Drinking Problem

Demi Lovato is furious at the producers of "X Factor," grousing that she was blindsided by a skit that mocked her addiction ... TMZ has learned.

Mario Lopez introduced a skit which showed clips of Demi drinking what looked like booze, acting annoying and off center.

Demi is extremely upset because addiction has turned her life upside down. It got so bad, she was living in a sober house for more than a year just to avoid temptation.

You can see her reaction on the show ... at one point it appears she says "That's f**ked up."

Demi's already said she's leaving the show, but now it's pretty clear ... for her it couldn't be soon enough.

We contacted reps for the show ... so far no word back.

Who Will Replace Demi Lovato on 'X Factor'? Simon Cowell "Has Somebody in Mind"

Demi Lovato confirmed that she will not be coming back to X Factor for season 4, but will Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio? We talked with Simon Cowell on the red carpet at the finale last night to find out.

"Demi, I knew she wasn't coming back because she's touring," Simon told us, "so we always knew that." But, "In terms of next season, I don't know yet. They've all been great, but I think it's definitely time for a change." Even if Simon did want Kelly and Paulina back on the judge's table, "I have to talk to them to see if they want to come back and what their commitments are."

It's no secret that Demi has drawn in a younger audience for the show, and surely Simon wants to keep up that momentum. "There's somebody in mind that we've watched for a while for this show," Simon told us, "who suddenly became available." And while he didn't give a lot of clues, he did reveal that the person is "larger than life and would be spectacular."

Hmm, if he lands that big fish, will he finally take a break? Simon's been working hard for years--from American Idol to his record label Syco to X Factor--but now that he's got a baby on the way, we wonder if he plans to take some time off. "I'll drop dead working, you know," he told us. "And as long as we're relevant, as long as we're having hits and as long as we're creating stars then I love this job. And the minute it stops then we have to stop. I've always said that."

What a work ethic! Who do you want to see on as a judge next season for X Factor?

Simon Cowell Wants Miley Cyrus to Be 'X Factor (US)' Judge

Simon Cowell wants Miley Cyrus for "The X Factor (US)". The British music mogul reveals to Mashable that the twerking queen is in his dream team of judges for the singing competition series, saying, "I recently met Miley Cyrus, and I really liked her. She has an opinion for sure."

In addition to the young performer who "would be really fun to watch," Cowell gives the other two spots in his dream team to fellow former "American Idol" judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. "I would pick Paula and Randy from American Idol - they were my favorite judges because we had an incredible time together," he admits. "It was never planned to be what it became, and it was really special."

In a conference call with reporters, Cowell also claims that a new season pick-up for the U.S. version of "The X Factor" is happening despite the show's disappointing ratings. "The show will be back next season," he says, adding that he "might have a different kind of role" but "we haven't discussed that yet."

The 54-year-old television producer additionally hints that the show may undergo a format change. "It might just be on one night a week," the expectant father says. "It could work well. [Two nights] is probably too much."

"The X Factor (US)" season 3 is nearing its end, with the two-part finale set to air on Wednesday, December 18 and Thursday, December 19.

One Direction Breaking Up, Solo Careers: Simon Cowell's Prediction

Are One Direction heading for a breakup and solo careers?

Simon Cowell thinks so!

In a new interview with Billboard magazine, Simon predicts, "Eventually they probably will split and up and maybe want to have their own careers."

He added, "The choice is theirs, and we've got the opportunity to do both. But from what I hear, they're really enjoying what they're doing and we don't feel there's anything seriously wrong here. They're getting more time off and I hope they stay a band for a long time."

It doesn't sound like a split is in the near future, however, as Liam noted, "We just love what we're doing right now. We've got no intention to change that."

In a recent Australian interview, Louis Tomlinson commented on One Direction staying together for quite awhile, saying, "We're having a great time."

He did have a prediction for their breakup date, joking, "It's gonna be on the 31st of March, 2072 on Mars."

Simon Cowell Credits 1D for Their Success: "It's All Down to Them, Not Me"

Did you catch 1D's "Story Of My Life" performance on X Factor?

The judges sure did! While the boys performed for the audience (and everyone else watching on national TV), we had to wonder what was going through Simon Cowell's head. After all, he is the mastermind behind them.

"It's important that they came on because it reminds the contestants that not only can you do well from the show, but you don't necessarily need to win," Simon said. "Like I said to all these artists, you've got to use this time on TV to showcase who you are and to show the record company what you can be in the real world."

With 1D being the biggest boy band in the world right now, "It was a good boost for all the contestants to see them come on," said Simon. "They've progressed a huge amount in three years." Simon may have formed the boy band, but he insists, "It's all down to them, not me. It's them." Kelly Rowland acknowledged the guys' dedication. "They work hard. Never take that away from," she told us. "There's a reason why they're at the top just sailing. And no body else is competing against them--they have no competition."

Do you think anyone from this season of X Factor can gain the level of success like 1D? (The boys even have their own 1D Day on November 23!)
