Kevin Jonas, one of the singers of pop band 'Jonas Brothers' and his wife Danielle Jonas have reportedly sold their New Jersey home for $1.67 million. It was the central location used to film the reality show “Married to Jonas”.
The residence was the central location used to film the reality show "Married to Jonas". The couple purchased the home in 2011 for about $1.2 million. They put the home up for sale with a $2.2 million asking price in October last year, just a month after which Nick Jonas purchased a home in Los Angeles for $3.2 million.
Jonas and his wife said they were selling due to privacy issues. They soon purchased a plot nearby and were to start construction on a new home. However, Zillow Blog reported that Jonas has now started a construction company called "JonasWerner Construction" and is currently busy working for another celebrity couple.
The home apparently sold in January, but the papers were signed recently. Meanwhile, Jonas and his wife welcomed baby girl Alena in February. They also recently opened up the doors of Alena's nursery to Parade.condenast.com. Speaking of the baby girl's room, Danielle said:
"When we got married, our bedroom was designed by Kate McIntyre and she became a close friend of ours, and I wanted so badly for her to do our nursery, especially the crib. We talked about it a little bit and all I said to her was I would love to have the little bluebirds from Snow White and she went with that and made a beautiful crib. Once I knew we were having a girl I decided that I didn't want the nursery to be pink because I knew she was going to be dressed in pink and all that stuff. I love pink, but I wanted something different for her nursery, so we went with a lavender instead and it just came out really soft and pretty and there are birds everywhere. I love it!"
The Jonas Brothers split sometime last year and have since been pursuing individual goals. Kevin and Joe will soon embark on a "speaking tour" where they will be talking about their lives publicly.
Talking about the tour Kevin told the publication:
"Yeah, we just announced this speaking tour that we're going on called "Kevin and Joe Jonas Off the Record" and it's going to be a three-show run of us talking with fans on different topics in fun, interactive ways. We'll be sharing stories and anecdotes that they've never heard before along with photos and videos. It's going to be really great."
The Home That Just Sold
According to the listing records, the residence that Kevin and Danielle just sold is a 4,788-square-feet single-family residence comprised of five bedrooms, five full and one half bathrooms. A movie theater, a wine cellar, a pool and a large green lawn are some of the luxury features of the property.
