Justin Bieber accused of 'not giving satisfactory DNA test' in baby scandal by Mariah Yeater's lawyer

It’s been more than a year since a woman accused Justin Bieber of fathering her baby.

And while everyone thought it was all a big misunderstanding after Justin denied ever meeting Mariah Yeater (let alone do the unmentionables) - the whole scandal has been resurfaced. Strange.

Her lawyer is renewing his demand for Justin to have a DNA test, according to reports in the US.

Mariah withdrew the original lawsuit - that was probably just a sheet of paper with lots of dollar signs - after it emerged the baby-daddy was actually her ex-boyfriend.

While there is currently no action pending, her attorney Jeffrey Leving has sparked controversy by claiming he never actually saw Justin’s DNA results, in a new interview with the New York Daily News.

“I have not seen [Bieber’s] DNA test results or had them scrutinized. If there was a first test, and I have no documentation to say there even was, I wasn’t provided with the results,” he said.

“I have not had my demands for an independent DNA test carried out by Mr Bieber.”

It’s a weird statement to make considering the popstar and his legal team have confirmed they carried out the required DNA test. Also, it makes us feel a bit uncomfortable that someone calls him Mr Bieber.

In October 2011, Mariah filed paternity papers that claimed she fell pregnant after having sex with Justin backstage following one of his concerts.

Justin quickly responded to her claims and denied all of the accusations, he said: "Never met the woman. I'd just like to say, basically, that none of those allegations are true. I know that I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim.

"It's crazy. Every night after the show I'm gone right from the stage right to the car, so it's crazy that some people want to make such false allegations. To set the record straight, none of it is true."

Justin’s current relationship with long-term girlfriend Selena Gomez has been a bit rocky with the couple reportedly splitting up and struggling to rekindle their romance.

So it definitely won’t help that Ke$ha told Rolling Stone magazine she would happily sleep with the 18-year-old.

When the Tik-Tok singer was asked if she would ever consider bedding the teenager, she replied: “Sure, Wait, is he even legal? Could I go to jail for this?”

After being reassured that should wouldn’t be locked away for sleeping with him, she joked: “Ok, then I would. We could go out and buy lottery tickets, vote, play putt-putt golf. All the things that are legal at the age of 18.”

A spokesperson for Justin Bieber did not wish to comment.

Justin Bieber's 'Maria' Is His 'Billie Jean,' Manager Says

If you wondered just how personal Justin Bieber would get on his chart-topping new album, Believe, the answer is pretty personal. But much like an episode of "Law & Order," the names and events have been altered to protect the innocent.

This is most obvious on his baby-mama-drama track, "Maria," on which Bieber addresses a paternity allegation made against him by a fan. In real life, Bieber faced such an allegation, and it eventually faded away. If you ask anyone in the singer's camp, however, the track isn't exactly about a girl named Mariah Yeater.

"I think he has [a lot of personal songs on the album]. I think 'Be Alright' [is]. I think a lot of the album is very, very personal, but I think for tabloid purposes 'Maria' sparks a lot of interest," his manager, Scooter Braun, told MTV News. "But I don't know why. It's not about anyone. It's just a story. You know, legally it's not about anyone."

It might not be about someone with the initials "M" and "Y" directly, but Braun does say it speaks a lot to Bieber's celebrity status. Every move he makes is a headline, a topic that has been dissected in pop music for decades.

"Michael [Jackson] had this amazing record called 'Billie Jean' and [producer] Rodney Jerkins, Justin and I had a conversation about kind of what had Justin been through the last year and just how people talk and make up stories about him," Braun explained. He added that getting all the facts about a Bieber-related story isn't always necessary because "when it comes to Justin Bieber the hype alone is enough to get you CNN."

That theory ties into the paternity claim, which quickly escalated into one of the biggest stories of Bieber's young life, regardless of the truth of Yeater's claim. "There was a story that took place that was so false that it should have never even seen the light of day," Braun said. "And it ended up becoming international news. He has to deal with that kind of stuff and he wrote a song kind of addressing it and it's a pretty awesome song. And it's our 'Billie Jean.' "

The 'Baby' hitmaker has composed a tune for his latest album about fan Mariah's false claims he fathered her baby last year and Justin says it was inspired by Michael's similar but fictional account of a fan claiming he'd fathered her son.

He told We Love Pop magazine: ''We definitely took inspiration from that song.

''I wanted to write something different and something the fans would be connected to and understand.

''I wanted them to think, 'Yeah that's Justin's life and he's talking about stuff that's really going on.'''

Justin also revealed he's not afraid to talk about his ordeal because people now know he was not the father after he took a paternity test.

He said: ''I still just think, 'Wow, I can't believe that happened,' but it's not really hard to talk about because I know the truth. It's behind me. People know what the truth us as well.

''Before, it was all pretty shady because everyone was like, 'Is it true? Is it not true?' But now I think people know that it's not true.''

On the show, the 18-year-old singer chatted about his mentor Usher, broken hearts, and why he wrote the song “Maria”.

“I wanted to do something that was like…a little shocking,” Justin revealed about his song “Maria”. “It was something that I’d been feeling and wanted to tell people. Because at the end of the day, you know things happen and I don’t get to really talk about it. People twist my words. So it’s like when they want to talk about it, I’m like ah, we can’t really talk about it in the interview. You know what I mean?”

MARIAH YEATER’S BABY CLAIMS MADE JUSTIN BIEBER CONSIDER QUITTING MUSIC

Ah “Mariah Yeater”, that’s a name that we haven’t uttered since 2011, but oh look we’re back carting her out again, as Justin Bieber has spoken about her in a recent interview.

For those of you with very short memories or an aversion to sex-in-the-toilet stories, Mariah last year claimed that el Biebo had fathered her child after they had 30 seconds of sex in a toilet. Now that’s romance if ever we’ve heard it.

Her claims were eventually proven to be BS, but the ordeal left Justin questioning whether or not he wanted to be famous anymore. Poor lamb.

"At the beginning of it all happening I was in Florida, away from my friends and family, and I was pretty sad. I got to the point where I thought: 'I don't want to do this. I just want to be normal',” he told Fabulous.

"Then I started thinking about all the things I wanted to accomplish in life and where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do. And it all led back to performing and the music. So that's why I'm here."

On how he feels about Mariaahhh, Justin said: "I feel sorry for her more than anything. Everything that hurts you makes you stronger in the end. You've just got to learn from the bad things that happen."

We previewed each track off Justin Bieber‘s Believe earlier this week, but as we inch closer and closer to the LP’s official release date (June 19), full songs have snuck their way onto the web. (How could such a thing happen?!) Though some of the more high-profile cuts off Bieber’s latest are collaborations — Nicki Minaj on “Beauty And The Beat” and Big Sean on “As Long As You Love Me”, for example — the 18-year-old pop star still knows how to deliver on his own.

“I could take you out, I could take you home, I could take you anywhere you wanna go,” sings Bieber in a gentle falsetto on this electro-singed track, which manages to keep it subtle while throwing around synths and wobbles. Disregarding the fact that he’s in a relationship and an 18-year-old man capable of acting on his sexual impulses, we still have a hard time believing that Bieber would take anybody home that he just met.

This ballad, with Bieber giving advice to a female friend, is a total 180 from the rest of Believe, what with the lack of anything EDM, or even R&B. We sure this isn’t a leftover from My World? Bieber isn’t old enough to sing about sex or getting crunk in the club, but he seems a little too old for something so slow and flavorless.

LISTEN TO JUSTIN BIEBER’S ‘BELIEVE’ SNIPPETS

OMG Beliebers! We have the best news in, like, ever for you. Snippets of the songs on Justin Bieber‘s ‘Believe,’ which drops on June 19, have been posted online. You get to hear about 30 seconds of each song — there are 13 in all — and it’ll get your blood pumping for the full swaggy album to finally drop.

We’ve listened to each track and offer a short commentary on what we heard. The album sounds like it’ll be very Michael Jackson-like, comprised of synthy pop jams, lots of falsetto, acoustic ballads and the requisite swag, swag, swag.

Our commentary is below.

‘As Long As You Love Me’: Mid-tempo, featuring the lyric, “As long as you love me / I’ll be your platinum, silver, gold,” with some falsetto.

‘Catching Feelings’: Very Usher-like

‘Take You’: Slow and low, R&B jam, with lots of auto-tuning and accelerating pace.

‘Right Here’ (feat. Drake): That’s what we call a hot harmony. Biebs gets rhythmic

‘Fall’: Acoustic and romantic.

‘Thought of You’: Another mid-tempo song where Biebs asks, “Why do we fight the fever?” in his higher register voice. Bieber Fever has no cure, so fighting it is futile. Duh. It reminds us of David Guetta‘s ‘Without You.’

‘Beauty and a Beat’ (feat. Nicki Minaj): Another dance jam; we don’t get a Nicki sample here.

‘One Love’: Echo’y vocals and mid-tempo

‘Be Alright’: Another acoustic guitar-accompanied, sweet and adult-like song.

‘Believe’: Sounds like an epic power ballad with an empowerment theme .

‘Out of Town Girl’: Laptop pop, with a chunky synth. Very sexy and urban, and Justin Timberlakian.

‘She Don’t Like the Lights’: There’s paparazzi flashbulbs going off in this slow, synthy jam. Is this about Selena Gomez?

‘Maria’: Lots of hip-hop beats and about a girl who won’t leave him alone. We’re wondering if this is about Mariah Yeater, the girl who claimed he fathered her son. It’s the Biebs’ version of ‘Billie Jean.’
