Shailene Woodley joins co-star Ansel Elgort at the Apple Store for a press conference for their new movie, The Fault In Our Stars, held at the Apple store in New York City on Sunday afternoon (June 1).

The two were joined by author John Green, co-stars Nat Wolff, Laura Dern, Sam Trammell and director Josh Boone for the Q&A session ahead of the film’s premiere this week.



“I knew that world very well. It was bittersweet when I saw the movie, because it’s probably the last young-adult film I’ll ever do. I’ve moved on from that period in my life, and I wouldn’t be able to bring as much truth to that perspective. I’m a woman now,” Shailene recently told Parade about identifying with the movie.

Shailene Woodley sandwiches between her co-stars Ansel Elgort and Nat Wolff during The Fault In Our Stars fan event at Dolphin Mall on Tuesday (May 6) in Miami, Fla.

The 22-year-old actress recently opened up about working with Ansel on both Divergent and this film.

“It wasn’t that weird because I’ve always sort of wondered what it’d be like kissing my brother,” Shailene joked at a Yahoo panel for the movie, adding “There’s something really beautiful about working with someone and working with them again and again and again, because the more you get to know somebody on a personal level, the more free you feel artistically. I think that if Ansel and I hadn’t known each other from Divergent, our relationship in this movie would not be what it is, because we didn’t have to go through the rehearsal phase of getting to know one another, becoming comfortable with one another.”

Shai continued, “There would be times when we’d disagree, and if we didn’t know each other, we might not say we disagree, because there’s that politeness. We were very open with one another when something wasn’t going the way we envisioned. It completely lent to these characters…Thank god we were brother and sister, and now we get to spend the next four years together, which is pretty freaking rad.”
