Amanda Bynes can add a new role to her resume: college student!

The formerly troubled actress, who left rehab in December, completed her first day at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising at the school's Orange County campus, according to E! News.

And it sounds like everything went really well for Amanda, who was hospitalized on a 5150 mandatory psychiatric hold last summer.

"She was very nice, friendly and chatting with her classmates," a source tells E!. The Easy A star was "originally going to be a fashion design but has now decided to pursue merchandise product development."

Amanda, who was reportedly being treated for a mental illness and is living with her parents after they were granted conservatorship, is easing back into a normal life. "She is enrolled part-time for the winter quarter," the source says.

Congrats, Amanda!

After finishing up her inpatient treatment program, Amanda Bynes stepped out in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

The actress was spotted going for a stroll with her parents Thursday wearing a "Gangsta Love" t-shirt, a baseball cap and jeans.

Amanda has been living with her parents since leaving rehab, where she had reportedly been since September seeking treatment for a mental illness.

"Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery," Amanda's lawyer, Tamar Arminak, said in a statement to People.

"Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day."

Tamar went on to say that Amanda is considering attending college "with the intention of majoring in fashion design."

The starlet appears to be in good spirits, reportedly telling In Touch she's "doing well."

"I'm doing great, it's been five days since I got out of rehab," Amanda continued.

It seems people in the hospital where Amanda Bynes is being treated are seeing two different sides of her.

Amanda, who's shown signs of schizophrenia and is reportedly suffering from a severe mental illness, is apparently aware that there's a "good Amanda and a bad Amanda," TMZ reports. When she talks about the "bad Amanda", she reportedly starts biting herself and mimicing an exorcism.

Source say the 27-year-old was lucid, normal and nice for 10 hours yesterday, but "shut down" when hospital staff asked her about the fire she started Monday.

But what really set her off was when she asked where her dog was, who she accidentally spilled gasoline on during the fire. When staffers told her her pet was safe with her parents, Amanda freaked out, saying: "They'll kill it, just like they tried to kill me!"

Amanda then got so out of control she reportedly had to be physically restrained. She was staying in a room with another patient originally, but had to be removed after berating and insulting her roommate.

Apparently, her drug tests have came back negative for everything except marijuana.

MANDA BYNES’ GRILL WILL BE LIKE MILEY CYRUS’

Ben Baller posted the above image to his Instagram the other day. It’s a mold of Amanda Bynes’ teeth. It’s not for his creepy collection of celebrity bite marks, rather, he’s making Amanda a custom grill.

Ben wrote, “It’s official. Came to NYC to make Amanda Bynes a $10,000 rose gold and pink diamond grill! Stay tuned. She’s a lot prettier in person.”

TMZ caught up with Ben in New York and asked him for more info. He says he almost ran out of molds because Amanda wouldn’t sit still and quit talking. Amanda also asked that her grill be like Miley Cyrus’ which is why it’s going to be rose gold and pink diamonds. A little weird because Amanda called Miley ugly at one point.

As for being a lot prettier in person, Ben said she was covered up and was sporting two black eyes from surgery. Not because he had to tell her twice. I guess his standards were really low to begin with.

Anyway, what’s surprising about this story is Amanda Bynes even has $10,000. She’s probably going to pay the guy in Monopoly money after screaming about how her grill is… “Pure Baltic Avenue!”

She's scheduled to appear in court tomorrow for her arrest back in May for possible marijuana posession.

Amanda Bynes Replaces Justin Bieber on Minimum Wage Billboard

It seems like Amanda Bynes might be more popular than Justin Bieber these days! At least that's what one company thinks!

We told you about a billboard that was put up In Los Angeles a few weeks ago that had Justin Bieber's face on it. The ad was used to promote the idea that a hike in minimum wage is NOT the way to go especially if teens want employment. Now it seems like the same company removed Justin's face from the advertisement and put Amanda Bynes' face on it instead.

"Is Amanda Bynes wigging out about teen unemployment?" the new billboard says.

It also reads, ​"The real scandal this summer isn't the tabloid exploits of a former child star, but that 24 percent of teens who want a job can't find one."

The new piece features the photo of Bynes during her court appearance where she wore the now famous blonde wig. Peep the billboard here!

We're sure it won't be long until she's threatening to unleash her lawyer on them for using her pic!

“I won’t even entertain that thought,” Cyrus, 20, told Hot 99.5 FM radio show host Kane when asked to respond to Bynes. “I think it’s all so sad, and I don’t want to add any fuel to that fire.”

While the 20-year-old “We Can’t Stop” singer’s repeated twerking has raised some eyebrows, it’s nowhere near how far over the edge Bynes, 27, has gone.

“I was rooting for her comeback until she started attacking me,” she added. “I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter.”

Other celebs who have been the target of Bynes’ online fury are Rihanna, Lance Bass, RuPaul, Courtney Love and even her own father, just to name a few.

Amanda Bynes has found her latest Twitter target: Miley Cyrus.

After going on a microblogging rampage that's already ensnared everyone from her father to Drake, Bynes has now aimed her vitriol at the "We Can't Stop" singer.

Shortly after midnight last night, Bynes tweeted a brisk message to Liam Hemsworth's fiancée: "Ur ugly @mileycyrus"

And in a seeming attempt to drill in her point, Bynes also attached a photo of Cyrus at the recent Billboard Music Awards.

Cyrus, for her part, has so far remained mum about Bynes' social-media attack.

This is yet the latest Twitter tirade unleashed by the embattled Bynes, who was arrested last month after allegedly throwing a bong out of her apartment window.

And Cyrus wasn't Bynes' only online target earlier today: After lobbing a slew of "ugly" comments at both Drake and her father this week, the 27-year-old once again took a shot at Drake.

"Is that an ugly face or what?" she tweeted, attaching a photo of Drake.

Bynes also remained indignant about her posts, later adding: "This is my twitter. I say whatever I want. Thanks!"

But in a quick change of pace, the star perked up when it came to plugging a few projects she seemed to have in the works.

"I'm so looking forward to recording my album and going on tour! I can't wait to see you all at my concerts!" she wrote.

Guess we won't be seeing Cyrus or Drake there.

Miley and Liam have been engaged for over a year now after he proposed on 1 June 2012 but since then they have been dogged by split rumours after Miley was spotted without her engagement ring and accusations of cheating.

Amid all these CRAZY stories, Miley was spotted with ex Nick earlier this year despite splitting up after an 18 month relationship back in December 2007.

But it seems Nick may have still had feelings for Miley because as soon as October last year when he admitted his song Wedding Bell was about his fellow singer ex.

Miley was been branded a "bad role model" yesterday, and is accused of promoting drug use in new lyrics.

The controversial singer has premiered her tune We Can’t Stop – which cynics on Twitter claim is reference to addiction – and includes talk of ecstasy, cocaine and strip clubs.

Still, she's definitely having a better time of it than fellow ex-Disney star Amanda.

Amanda had plastic surgery to change her face after being unhappy with her police mug shot.

She was arrested ten days ago for allegedly throwing a marijuana bong outside her 36th-floor window of her New York City apartment.

And obviously not feeling flattered by her cop-shot, the damaged star decided to take drastic action and will have ANOTHER operation in “three weeks,” she told TMZ.

During Amanda's latest Twitter feud, she fired back at the model after she posted a tweet saying, "The fact that Amanda Bynes has any 'support' to retweet is really unsettling," and followed it up with another tweet that said, "Support people with mental illness, yes. But don't condone/enable scary and poor behavior."

Obviously, Amanda was less than thrilled about being called mentally ill, so she gave Chrissy a piece of her mind with the following message:

Amanda Bynes was arrested on Thursday night for possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence and reckless endangerment.

Amanda Bynes has taken to her Twitter to defend accounts of her media portrayal, and in doing so, admitted she has an eating disorder.

“I’m suing certain blogs and magazines saying I have a mental illness! They take pictures anytime I’ve gained weight then write a fake story!” the 27-year-old actress tweeted, just one day after her birthday. “I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin.”

“They write a news article about every tweet I write and I hate the pictures they choose. They repeat what I tweet then add a bad photo.” she added.

No word from Amanda whether she’s sought help for her disorder. We wish her the best!
