Amanda Bynes can add a new role to her resume: college student!
The formerly troubled actress, who left rehab in December, completed her first day at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising at the school's Orange County campus, according to E! News.
And it sounds like everything went really well for Amanda, who was hospitalized on a 5150 mandatory psychiatric hold last summer.
"She was very nice, friendly and chatting with her classmates," a source tells E!. The Easy A star was "originally going to be a fashion design but has now decided to pursue merchandise product development."
Amanda, who was reportedly being treated for a mental illness and is living with her parents after they were granted conservatorship, is easing back into a normal life. "She is enrolled part-time for the winter quarter," the source says.
