Listen to Demi Lovato and Adam Lambert sing The Supremes’ The Happening on Glee

In the episode entitled Trio, which airs in the US tomorrow, characters Dani (Lovato), Elliot Starchild (Lambert) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) will be getting their Motown on when they join vocal forces to perform a cover of The Happening by The Supremes.

The official description of the episode is as follows: ‘As graduation approaches, Tina, Blaine and Sam band together to hold a senior “lock-in” at school, hoping to savor their last chance at hanging out together. But their plans are thwarted when Becky joins unexpectedly. Meanwhile, in New York, Elliot (guest star Adam Lambert) is stuck in The Middle between Rachel and Santana’s feud.’

TOP PICK: American Idol: Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, Other Alums Considered as New Judges?

Best idea ever?

According to E! Online, American idol producers are looking at hiring Idol alums to fill the judging spots on the panel next season.

"It's Idol stars guiding the next generation" one Fox source told E!.

Of course the first ever American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, is one of the show's top choices along with singer-actress Jennifer Hudson. They're also looking at Clay Aiken and Adam Lambert to fill the third spot, as they're looking to go back to three judges.

Who could better judge the newcomers than the people who have been in their shoes?!

We really hope all of this talk is true because it would be SO awesome! What a brilliant way to still have cool celebs on the show but with a different spin than the other reality singing competitions out there.

Adam Lambert Praises 'Playful' One Direction

Singer Adam Lambert has praised One Direction admitting he is a fan of the group.

The former American Idol contestant, who finished second in the eighth series of the show in 2009, took to Twitter this week to voice his opinion on the band and said he enjoyed their work during a question and answer session with his followers.

When he asked what he thought of former X Factor contestants One Direction, Adam wrote: “They look like they're having a great time. High, playful energy. Well produced music.”

Meanwhile, the singer opened up about what he likes to do in his free time and revealed the television shows he enjoys watching most.

He wrote: “Favs (sic) are American Horror Story, Dexter, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Californication, Weeds (now over), Shameless, Downton Abbey.”

And while the singer may have pleased his fans by taking part in the online chat, he risked disappointing them by admitting a video for his song 'Trespassing' is unlikely to be released.

He tweeted: “It prob ain't gonna happen. ;(. (sic)”
