Miley Cyrus isn't the type to let a string of racist allegations get her down as the singer has brushed off criticism of her using primarily black dancers to twerk in her music videos and on stage on the 'Bangerz' tour, admitting she finds the outrage “funny.”
The 21-year-old caused a stir with her 'We Can't Stop' video which premiered last year and sees a fleet of dancers – who are mainly black - shaking their bums while 'twerking,' the provocative dance craze which Miley made a global phenomenon.
“We're like a bunch of kids dancing around in, like, bears, but we don't do choreography. They're just like dancing, doing these cute moves and they're awesome dancers like just on their own. It's not me telling them how to be,” she explained.
Miley has caused yet more controversy with the x-rated antics seen on her 'Bangerz' tour so far with some parents outraged by the singer's sexually-charged performance, prompting them to reportedly lodge complaints.
However, the 'Wrecking Ball' star is far from bothered about the backlash and hit back via Twitter, telling her critics: “You can't say I didn't warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour...
“Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the 'fries with that' (sic).”
