Ariana Grande may look sweet and innocent, but it seems like the singer may have a rebellious streak, as she recently revealed that she and some friends took a trip to "one of the seven gates to hell" before being "chased out by demons."
Ariana, who is dating The Wanted's Nathan Sykes, has spoken out about visiting the Stull Cemetery near Kansas City, Kansas where she thought that she came face to face with demons, who made it clear that they didn't want her there.
The Way singer tells Complex magazine: "I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulphur, which is the sign of a demon.
"I was like, 'This is scary, let's leave'. I rolled down the window before we left and said, 'We apologise. We didn't mean to disrupt your peace'."
And it seems like she'll always have a keepsake of her scary trip, with the 20-year-old adding: "I took a picture and there are three super distinct faces in the picture - they're faces of textbook demons.
"The next day I tried to send the picture to my manager and it said, 'This file can't be sent, it's 666 megabytes'."
Ariana went on to say that she considers herself prone to spooky encounters and just weeks ago she woke to find "black matter" hovering by her bed.
She continued: "Every time I closed my eyes I started seeing these really disturbing images with, like, red shapes... Then I scooched over to the left side of the bed... and there was this black matter. I don't know what it was. It was like a cloud or something black right next to me. I started crying... I watched it move to the front of my bed.
"The next night my friend Tyler was staying with me. She said she was trying to sleep and her body felt paralyzed almost, and she described the same exact thing I saw."
