Simon Cowell appeared to be in good spirits at the X Factor USA première party on Thursday by joking about becoming a dad, according to reports.
The 53-year-old music guru is expecting his first child with New York socialite Lauren Silverman.
"I'd like to reveal something: I'm going to be a Dad," he announced at Cecconi's in West Hollywood, reports USA today.
"Nobody knows," the X Factor boss joked about the news that has created a massive media storm over the past month.
The X Factor judge was at the event with ex Terri Seymour and fellow judges, leaving his preggars girlfriend at home.
"He's making me the godmother," Demi Lovato told the crowd.
New judge Paulina Rubio teased, "I just heard Simon is going to breastfeed."
Meanwhile, Cowell who is apparently having a little boy, recently revealed he is going to give his millions away to charity rather than “passing it on from one generation to another”.
He told Esquire magazine, “I'm going to be leaving my money to somebody.
“A charity, probably - kids and dogs. I don't believe in that passing on from one generation to another.”
