After Miley Cyrus' provocative performance at the 2013 VMAs, fiance Liam Hemsworth flew to London to spend time with his brother, Chris.
According to a September 1, 2013 Hollywood Life report, the "Hunger Games" star may be seeking some brotherly advice about his relationship with Miley.
This does not bode well for the couple.
The article suggested that since his family was very conservative, Chris Hemsworth would likely encourage his brother to call it quits.
Liam had not reacted well to her VMA performance. The source even suggested that Miley had cranked up the shock appeal in order to get back at her fiance. "When she fights with Liam, she acts out and gets even more rebellious, and that came out on stage, but she’s not sorry."
Chris and Luke Hemsworth have never seemed too enthusiastic about their brother's relationship with the "We Can't Stop" singer.
Back in April 2012, before the engagement, Chris told E! News that he didn't see them getting engaged anytime soon. "They're like 21 or something…I can't see that happening. You have to ask him about his relationship."
Then in May 2013, OK! Magazine reported that Chris and Luke staged an intervention in hopes of convincing their brother to end the engagement.
With Liam's family not in her corner, things don't look so good for Miley.
Another ongoing challenge seems to be their very different personalities. As an August 28, 2013 Hollywood Life reported suggested, Liam is more of a reserved, private guy, while Miley really puts it all out there!
Can Miley and Liam work out their differences? Is their relationship salvageable? Or should they just call it quits?
