Ariana Grande may have been romantically linked to Justin Bieber after the teen posted a snap of the pair getting close on Twitter, but the singer has now blasted any rumours that they are more than friends, saying that he's a "nice kid" but that she "wouldn't date him."
Ariana basically became a star overnight with her stunning vocals being likened to that of Mariah Carey and she's also become known for her pally ways with Biebs, but the brunette has denied that they have any form of romance going on.
When quizzed by reporters on whether there were any truth to the romance rumours, the Baby I singer simply said "No," before then added "that's why they're rumours."
The reporters then continued to quiz the star, to which she said: "I would never date him, but he's a nice kid."
Despite the showbiz pair not hooking up, Grande recently said that they are close and the pretty songstress reveals how she reacted when the 'Boyfriend' singer first contacted her.
“Justin’s the most famous contact I have in my phone,” Ariana, 20, told M magazine. “I felt so cool when he texted me. I didn’t believe it was him at first. He wrote, ‘What’s up cutie?’ and I dropped my phone and thought, ‘That did not just happen.'”
It looks like Ariana scored extra brownie points with Justin after recording a cover of his track 'Died In Your Arms' and he fully approved of her version and gave it the thumbs up!
“I did a cover of ‘Die In Your Arms’ and Justin tweeted it and said he liked it and that meant the world to me,” Ariana revealed. “The fact that he did that means that he thinks I have some credibility as an artist. I’d love to work with him one day, I think he’s adorable and amazing.”
The young singers were recently rumoured to be dating after she posted a photo of Justin giving her a kiss on the cheek, and the singer was forced to settle his Beliebers and give an explanation for the photo.
"Everyone, girls are allowed to be friends with guys. I'm a lady. Chill out,” Ariana tweeted.
