'Snow White' Box Office: Opening Weekend Numbers Revealed – See How Much Money the Movie Made

The numbers are in for Disney‘s live-action remake of 1937′s iconic Snow White!

The film, which stars Rachel Zegler in the title role and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, brought in $43 million at the domestic box office in its opening weekend.

Globally, Snow White took in $44.3 million for an overall haul of $87.3 million, via THR.

There are examples of live-action movies slowly generating big numbers at the box office. Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King recently debuted to $35 million around Christmas 2024, going on to bring in $700 million globally.

The company projected an opening for Snow White between $45 million and $55 million.

Snow White earned a B+ CinemaScore from audiences. Almost every Disney live-action film has received a variation of an A grade. It has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 43%, and an audience score of 74%.

As far as other recent live-action remake openings from Disney, Beauty and the Beast opened to $174.6 million domestically in mid-March 2017, not adjusted for inflation. 2015′s Cinderella debuted to $67.9 million domestically, while Maleficent launched to $69 million in May 2014.
