'Wicked' Movie Soundtrack Listing Revealed: 'Defying Gravity' Included in Part 1, More Info Unveiled as Tickets Go On Sale!

There’s new Wicked movie info!

First, in promotion of the movie’s tickets going on sale, Universal released a poster of Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, recreating the original Broadway poster for the show! See both posters in the gallery below.

In addition, info about the soundtrack was also just released!

If you don’t know, Wicked is being separated into two films. Part 1 is being released next month, and the track listing for the first movie was just released.

We’re here to tell you that there are no new songs in the first movie and no songs were cut from the Broadway production. The songs are also in the exact same order as the Broadway musical.

The track listing also seemingly confirms what fans have been speculating: Part 1 will end with Elphaba’s big number, “Defying Gravity,” which also ends Act 1 in the Broadway version.
