“Scooter’s team is spinning the story. Ariana is leaving both Scooter and HYBE. There is absolutely no truth to her staying,” a source told Variety.
They added that the pair “are friendly,” though Ariana has “outgrown” him.
“Yes, there are negotiations happening because of contracts. But this is her choice. It’s time for something new,” they continued.
The outlet noted that Ariana might have her plans to launch her own management team instead of moving to a different firm. They reported that she was aiming to model a plan after Taylor Swift and similar artists.
