Ariana Grande is filing for divorce.
Following the reports of her split from husband Dalton Gomez in July, the 30-year-old “Break Free” superstar filed docs to divorce on Monday (September 18) after two years of marriage.
According to TMZ, Ariana cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Dalton reportedly filed his own divorce petition almost simultaneously.
Their date of separation was listed as February 20, 2023.
According to the outlet, the now ex-couple worked everything out before going to the courthouse and Ariana will “cut a check” to Dalton.
They also had a prenuptial agreement in place.
“They’ve been really caring and respectful of one another every step of this process,” a source told the outlet.
The pair were first romantically linked in early 2020 during the pandemic.
A divorce attorney told Page Six exclusively that their prenup “almost certainly protects all assets and income that either of them had prior to the marriage.” There will also most likely be a very “limited” division of assets because the relationship was short.
If you don’t know, a few weeks back, it was discovered that Ariana was dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, 31. Reports indicated that Ethan had broken up with his wife, Lilly Jay, before beginning the relationship with Ariana. Ethan and Lilly have one son together, who was born in the summer of 2022. See how Ariana recently supported Ethan on social media.
